Her ‘maids donned mix-and-match dresses in jewel tones such as teal, plum, and navy. The groom and his men looked dapper in gray dress pants, blue suspenders, and skinny blue neckties. The couple tied the knot outside on the vineyard property, and guests were directed to their seats with chalkboard signage. A reception followed in the club’s dining room, where guests were greeted by a wooden box adorned with bunting as a place to put well-wishes cards. “They included tons of DIY details, from the airplane place cards to the library card happily ever after guest book,” Erin said. The space was adorned with beautiful drapery, twinkling lights, and crystal beading. Guests sat at tables covered in white linens and tall branch centerpieces. Guests danced the night away and enjoyed a Belgian waffle wedding cake! “Their wedding was filled with organic and real emotions of love and laughter,” their photographer, Erin, said. Christina + Anthony: Bright Seaside New England Summer Wedding by A Brit + A Blonde
Posted by Sarah Title. Filed under Real Weddings

Christina and Anthony were married at Portland Company Complex in Portland, Maine on June 2. The bride looked lovely in a lace gown featuring an illusion lace neckline and short sleeves. She wore her hair in a low chignon and carried a bright summer bouquet of peonies, poppies, garden roses, and greenery. The groom looked dapper in a gray three-piece suit complete with a light neck tie and a pocket watch. The couple tied the knot seaside under a hand-knit chuppah. After they exchanged vows, guests walked about five minutes to the reception space which was an industrial style space featuring wooden floors, a brick wall, and exposed beams. “Guests were then invited to get all aboard the train for a fun little ride around while they all mingled and drank old fashioneds and lemonades before being dropped back at the reception,” said Jessica of A Brit & A Blonde. Friends and family members also enjoyed local Maine and New England beers during cocktail hour. Guests sat at long banquet tables complete with chevron table runners in crossback chairs. The tables were lined with glass bud vases with snapdragon and tulip arrangements in them.  “Anthony & Christina are true blue wedding DIYers,” Jessica said. “Almost every single detail and décor item was done by them or one of their family or friends.” In lieu of tangible wedding favors, a donation was made to Uncommon Schools. The menu included spring radish slivers, whole grilled arctic char stuffed with fennel and herbs, and quinoa salad with pickled rhubarb. For dessert, guests enjoy a single-tier buttercream cake adorned with a flower, as well as a tower of Whoopie pies! See the full board here.
