Morgan and Zach were married at Aldridge Gardens in Hoover, Ala. on September 1. The bride wore a fitted strapless lace gown with a chapel length train and a lace-edged veil. She wore her hair in loose waves and carried a bouquet of chamomile, mums, spray roses, and seeded eucalyptus. Her ‘maids were outfitted in short navy blue lace dresses with various necklines and carried a bouquet just like the bride’s. Her groom looked dapper in a Jos A. Bank khaki suit complete with a patterned navy tie, and his groomsmen matched perfectly! The ceremony took place under a tree outside as 150 guests looked on in white folding chairs. “I wanted our wedding to be romantic yet rustic,” Morgan explained. “Because it was outdoors, I wanted the decor and flowers to be an extension of nature and not overpower the natural beauty of the gardens.” Guests then enjoyed cocktail hour where they drank pink beverages out of mason jars. They were seated at round tables with white linens and blush flower centerpieces, that sat atop burlap fabric. The wedding party sat at a long banquet table facing the other guests. After dinner, guests indulged in a small two-tiered cake and lots of chocolate and vanilla cupcakes! Since both the bride and groom met while in school at University of Alabama, they had a fun twist on the average send-off. “For our farewell, all the guests were given Alabama spirit shakers and we walked through with guests on both sides of us while singing the fight song,”  Morgan said. Talk about a memorable exit! See the full board here.

Elizabeth and Timmy were married at Historic Malbis Plantation in Daphne, Ala. on November 30. “As a wedding photographer for the past three years, I wanted something unique and different, something I had never seen before in person,” Elizabeth said. “I had a little help from Pinterest and Etsy, and it took many hours slaving over DIY projects and many sleepless nights getting it all done, but I could have not asked for a better wedding once I saw everything together.” The bride wore a ruffled one-shoulder satin a-line wedding gown, accessorized with a sideswept braided updo and chunky, chandelier earrings, while the groom wore a dark gray vest and pants, accessorized with solid ties and Converse tennis shoes. She carried a bouquet of Before the ceremony, the couple exchanged love letters and gifts. Elizabeth wrote on a brown paper bag, “Timmy, I have loved you for 824 days but today will be the best day ever. Love, your fiance.” “The weather was perfect,” she said. “I was so nervous it would be way too cold or rainy, and it was 69-70 degrees and sunny.” Fun fact: It took place during the Iron Bowl. “We walked back up the aisle to the Alabama fight song, since Timmy and the groomsmen are huge football fans,” Elizabeth said. Guests were encouraged to update their statuses, tweets, or Instagram photos with the hashtag #goldmanwedding. The signature cocktail? Mountain dew! “I knew that a wide array of florals would make a gorgeous setup surrounded by mason jars and bottles of different sizes and candles galore,” she said. “It was truly beautiful! I incorporated a ton of cameras I found either on Ebay or local antique stores to showcase my love for photography.” The newlyweds performed their first dance to John Legend’s “All of Me,” and then sat down at a sweetheart table with a fabric streamers backdrop and crystal chandelier from above. The three-tiered buttercream frosted cake was topped with a bunting banner with hearts and in addition, there was groom’s cake featuring Big ‘Al. See the full board here.

Samantha and Austin were married in a traditional church ceremony at First Baptist Church of Pinson followed by a reception inside the banquet hall. Fun fact: She is a former contestant on America’s Next Top Model. The bride wore a sweetheart a-line wedding gown with a frothy, full tulle skirt, accessorized with a braided updo and cameo necklace, while the groom wore a dark gray suit, accessorized with a patterned tie. Guests were greeted with programs that featured a timeline of the couple’s relationship. “December 21, 2012 to the ancient Mayan calendar may have been the end of the world, but it was actually the beginning of theirs . . . Austin got down on one knee to ask Samantha to marry him. In the same Marine Biology classroom where it all began.” Just as the ceremony began, “I turned the corner with my dad walking me down the aisle in the church I grew up in and finally saw Austin for the first time,” Samantha said. The processional was just as exciting as the recessional — filled with ribbon wands! The reception kicked off with signature drinks such as Coca-Cola and sparking pink lemonade, tables were decorated with family heirloom vases and vessels atop mirrors, and paper pinwheels hung from the ceiling. In addition to the three-tiered cake, a dessert display was overflowing with Italian cannolis, chocolate-covered strawberries, and pies. See the full board here.
