She carried a bouquet of roses accented with baby’s breath. The groom and his ‘men donned gray suits accessorized with pink neck ties (a bow tie for the groom), vests and pocket squares. Following the ceremony, guests were escorted to their seats by adorable DIY keys and luggage tags. They enjoyed a three-course meal and a three-tiered cake, which was embellished with burlap and lace ribbon.  ”Our reception was the party we had both envisioned,” Kristen said. “A great romantic-rustic ambiance, a delicious dinner, great music, bottomless beverages, and decadent cake, all while being surrounded by those who we love the most.” The favors? A jar of Kristen’s homemade pepper-jelly! See the full board here.

Samantha and Travis were married at The Venue at the Grove in Phoenix, Ariz.. on September 21. The couple met through a mutual friend at an intramural flag football game in graduate school. After a year of dating, Travis proposed to her on a cliff overlooking the ocean during a surprise trip to Mexico. How romantic! Samantha wore a sweetheart ruched mermaid wedding gown, accessorized with diamond necklace, earrings, and bracelet, while her bridesmaids wore fit ‘n’ flare lace dresses. ”During the ceremony, we chose to do a foot washing as our ‘unity activity,’” she said. “This was particularly meaningful to us as it represented our commitment to loving and serving one another in the way that we believe that Jesus loves us.” Guests enjoyed lawn games during cocktail hour, and the brick oven pizza that they could eat until their stomachs were full. Tables were decorated with bowls of peaches, gold glitter votives, and books. The dessert bar was filled with his and her favorites — Dippin’ Dots and chocolate glazed donuts. Anita + Jason: A Purple Spring Arizona Inn Wedding By Jill Lauren Photography
Posted by czentgraf. Filed under Real Weddings

Photo: Jill Lauren Photography; Event Planner: Amina Michele Garrison of Some Like it Classic Wedding and Event Design; Floral Design: Events by Show Stoppers; Venue: The Creekside Inn at Sedona; Catering: Perfection Catering; Rentals: Classic Party Rentals; Linens: Wildflower Linens; Favors: PaperCrazy; Hair and Makeup Artist: Patricia Vega of Le Petit Spa de Sedona; Bakery: Sedona Cake Couture

Anita and Jason were married at the Creekside Inn at Sedona on April 4. “We wanted an intimate and relaxed wedding where the focus was bringing together family and friends to celebrate with us,” Anita said. Anita looked oh-so romantic in her Pronovias ruffled halter wedding gown and her hair in a braided updo when she gave Jason a personalized handkerchief as a wedding day gift. Guests were greeted with a chalkboard sign that stated, “1 home, 2 crazy cats, and 3 years later,” and even an artist who was hired to paint a portrait of their ceremony — live! Cocktail hour began with refreshing H2o, mint lemonade, and a champagne toast with sprigs of lavender and transitioned in to the reception tent where a family-style dinner was served along with desserts aplenty like brownie bites and cookies. Long farm tables were decorated with floral table runners, mercury votives lit with candles, and purple centerpieces featuring roses, geraniums, and dusty millers. Favors were at each place setting packaged into monogrammed boxes, and in lieu of a guestbook, recipes were shared with the newlyweds instead. See the full board here.
