Kelly and Shaun were married at Old Wide Awake Plantation in Hollywood, S.C. on April 13. ”With me being from Connecticut and Shaun being from Kentucky, we decided to get married in Charleston because that was where we met and lived throughout our entire relationship,” Kelly said. “It was also a good neutral location for both our families and many of our friends.” The bride wore a strapless a-line wedding gown, accessorized with statement earrings and bracelet, while the groom wore a tan suit, accessorized with a bow tie. Bridesmaids wore long pink chiffon dresses and carried bouquets of roses, hydrangeas, and baby’s breath. ”I knew that I wanted the quintessential Southern wedding,” she said. “I knew that I wanted blush, ivory, and gold. I knew I wanted sprawling lawns, wraparound porches, mason jars, a fire pit, and dancing under the stars. OWA was the perfect venue, and I don’t think I could have asked for anything more.” Guests were greeted with a wooden sign post that said, “1st kiss and 1st dance,” and encouraged to sit wherever they liked. ”It was a perfect, sunny spring day at about 78 degrees,” Kelly said. “We could not have asked for a better day.” Cocktail hour began with spiked sweet tea made with Firefly Vodka, of course! Reception tables were decorated with white linens, mini glass vase and vessel centerpieces, and mercury glass votive candles. ”If I had to name a few words that I had in mind while planning our wedding, I would say that romantic and Southern topped the list,” she said. “I would say that shabby chic, flowy, breezy, vintage, and rustic also played a part.” The newlyweds performed their first dance to Ray LaMontagne’s “You Are The Best Thing,” and ended the night with a sparkler send-off. Then, it was off to Hawaii! See the full board here.

Corinna and Zack were married at Oak Hill in Hudson, N.Y. on August 24. The bride wore a sweetheart ball gown with a ruffled floral petal skirt, accessorized with her hair half-up/half-down in loose curls, while the groom wore a three-piece gray suit, accessorized with a solid tie and Converse tennis shoes. Bridesmaids wore mix ‘n’ matched short blush dresses and carried bouquets of baby’s breath. Their gifts? Burlap clutches. Guests were directed to the ceremony, reception, and yes, restrooms with a wooden sign post and were encouraged to take a fan to beat the hot, hot heat. The ceremony took place along the river with an expansive view of the Catskill Mountains in the background. Cocktail hour began with “Moose Juice,” fresh pineapple soaked in vodka, and “Jungle Juice,” fruit punch, lemon-lime fizz, and raspberry vodka, and lawn games such as corn hole. The reception was held inside the barn lit with string lights and draped with fabric. Tables were decorated with burlap runners, mason jar and wine bottle centerpieces atop wooden slices, and utensils wrapped in twine. Family style dinner included grilled steak, salmon, bbq chicken, pulled pork, mac ‘n’ cheese, and fresh vegetables. Yum! Plus, a strawberry shortcake for dessert. Just wait until you see the newlyweds’ send-off! Z + C = pure bliss. See the full board here.

Nicoleta and Joseph were married in a traditional Greek ceremony at Saint John the Baptist followed by a reception at Jackson’s Bistro in Tampa, Fla. on May 11. They first met at medical school in the Cayman Islands. Turns out, they were both from the same hometown! ”With our demanding careers now in place, I couldn’t imagine going through this with anyone else!” Nicoleta said. She wore a satin fit ‘n’ flare wedding gown, accessorized with her hair down in loose curls. Her shoes of choice? Of course, Badgley Mischka petal pumps! Bridesmaids wore long blush chiffon dresses and carried rose and hydrangea bouquets. Groomsmen looked suave in their gray three-piece tuxedos, accessorized with rose boutonnieres. ”The inspiration for my wedding was ‘vintage chic,’” she said. “I wanted my day to be surrounded by light, airy, yet flirty colors of pink, and silver to have the feeling of pure love and romance.” Reception tables were decorated with silver trays, tea cups, framed table numbers, and baby’s breath centerpieces. Each one featured different vessels and vases to create variety for the guests. See the full board here.
