Clare and Bryce were married at Bare Knuckle Farm in Northport, Mich. on May 25. They first met on OkCupid.com, an online dating website, almost two years ago.  “It was one of those things where we just clicked and everything fell into place with zero fuss,” Clare said. The bride wore an a-line wedding gown with lace capped sleeves, accessorized with a floral wreath in her loosely curled hair, while the groom wore a dark gray three-piece suit, accessorized with a boutonniere wrapped in leather. “We got so lucky with gorgeous weather leading up to the wedding and the day itself,” she said. “The ceremony was outdoors, on hay bayles, overlooking the farm. We each wrote our own vows, and we managed to make everyone cry, which was totally our goal!” Drinks were served in wheelbarrows during cocktail hour as animals roamed the nearby fields. “After the ceremony, we took 10 minutes back in the orchards on our own, to take in the moment, take in each other, and realize we were married!” Clare said. The reception was held underneath a pole tent. “If the weather had been cold, considered it was one of the worst winters on record, we wanted to make sure it felt warm – not just the temperatures but the visual feel too,” she said. Tables were decorated with “mango” runners made by Bryce’s mom, mason jar centerpieces, and heart-punched, handwritten thank-you notes attached to favor bags at each place setting. Paper lanterns hung from the ceiling too! “The flowers came from a local farm where they gave us what was in season – mostly colorful flowering branches, which we rounded out with just a few other flowers from a flower shop,” Clare said. The newlyweds’ first dance was a surprise. “”We like to have a dance party with out family and friends – we dance party all the time,” she said. “So, we got everyone on the dance floor as soon as possible. The first song played was Jackson 5’s ‘I Want You Back.'” See the full board here.

Alexandra + Josh: A Neutral Boho Chic Fall Canadian Garden Wedding By Mango Studios

Alexandra and Josh were married in a traditional church ceremony at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic followed by a reception at LIUNA Gardens in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on October 12. The bride wore a textured v-neck wedding gown with capped sleeves, accessorized with a greenery wreath in her loose curls, while the groom wore a black suit, accessorized with a bow tie and pocket square. Bridesmaids wore mix ‘n’ matched short neutral chiffon dresses and carried bouquets of roses, dahlias, astilbes, and berries wrapped in lace. Following the vows, the newlyweds exited down the stairs amongst a sea of bubbles blown by guests. Inside the ballroom, escort cards were displayed in a bed of pearls against vintage doors that said, “Your seat awaits you,” and words of wisdom were written on cards to be opened on milestone anniversaries. Reception tables were decorated with sparkly sequin linens, over 125 pillar candles, mirror picture frame numbers, and jars of honey at each place setting — a sweet favor! In addition to the three-tiered buttercream wedding cake, there was also a mini unfrosted or “naked” wedding cake. Dancing continued throughout the night all thanks to a disco ball shining bright from the ceiling, but it was the fireworks display that really wowed. See the full board here.

Anna + Mike: A DIY Boho Chic Summer Idaho Ranch Wedding By Erin Leigh

Anna and Mike were married at Fall River Ranch in Ashton, Idaho last summer. The couple first met 10 years ago, when she frequented the snow-cone shack where he worked. “Finally, one day I had the guts to write my number down on a napkin and give it to him,” Anna said.  After deciding on a destination wedding four hours away from their home in Salt Lake City, they officially had all 40 acres of the property to themselves for the weekend, including no cell service. “Mike and I decided to have a getaway wedding because we only wanted the people there who wanted to be,” she said. The bride wore a v-neck lace wedding gown with a tiered ruffled skirt, accessorized with a floral wreath in her updo, while the groom wore tan suit, accessorized with a blue tie. “It was very important for me to buy my bridesmaids dresses for them,” Anna said. “So, I shopped with each of them to find the perfect style. No one’s body is the same, and I wanted them to feel the best they could and comfortable.” Bouquets were freshly-picked wildflowers wrapped in lace around the stems. Guests were greeted with a welcome sign that encouraged them to hashtag “mike+anna” on their Instagram pictures. “When it came to the wedding decor, we did it all ourselves,” she said. “We used all of my Depression-era glassware, my grandparents collected vintage medicine bottles for me and after many trips to vintage markers and estate sales I had a large selection of vintage items to use as vessels.” Following the evening nuptials, the newlyweds performed their first dance to “Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts, but due to a sound system snafu, they ended up dancing to “Lego House” by Ed Sheeran, dinner was served on vintage china, and in lieu of a traditional tiered cake, a red velvet bundt cake was served. Paula and Justin were married at the Moscow United Methodist Church followed by a reception at Elmhurst Country Club in Moscow, Pa. on September 14. “We agreed from the very beginning that we wanted our wedding to be about sharing our love with one another and our closest friends and family,” Paula said. “Neither he nor I wanted a huge guest list or over the top decor, and we quickly decided to let our love and simple tastes guide us.” She wore a sweetheart lace a-line wedding gown, accessorized with a vintage-inspired veil, while bridesmaids wore neutral one-shoulder long dresses. Their bouquets featured white hydrangeas encircling a cluster of pink roses. After they were officially pronounced husband and wife, guests waved ribbon wands as they exited. The reception was decorated with a family photo display, framed seating assignments on a wooden door, a guest book where everyone signed next to their birthday, and mason jar centerpieces. “We opted for a semi-‘naked’ carrot wedding cake for both taste and simplicity of appearance,” she said. The cake also featured a gold deer topper. See the full board here.
