Posted on April 8th, 2013 by Kate. Filed under Uncategorized.

Get ready to kick up your boots and stay a while, y’all! Between the sweetly mismatched bridesmaid dresses and super-fun reception space, Victoria and John’s Texas nuptials are seriously worth pouring over. Set on a chilly January day at McKinney’s Rock Creek Ranch, the rustic celebration is a creative, colorful spin on classic country wedding style (love those subtle neon bouquets). Big thanks to Allison Davis for sharing her photos of the day! Be sure to check out the full gallery for even more details.

Elisha and David’s Southern California wedding fills our hearts with sunshine! From the bride’s sweet ballet flats to the textured white bouquets, everything about this ceremony feels elegant, refined, and inviting. Set on a “perfect” day at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, the intimate family affair (Elisha’s stepfather officiated) took place outdoors by the hotel fountain, which was turned on moments after they exchanged vows. Michelle Warren was on hand to capture the magic, and we’re thrilled to share her lovely images today.

* An Eclectic Fall Wedding by Rebekah Westover Photography {Part One}

Posted on January 29th, 2013 by Kate. Filed under Real Weddings.

A wedding of two creative types always yields some serious inspiration, and Becca and Jason’s wedding was no exception.  The two met way back in the first grade and went all the way up thru high school together.  But it wasn’t until years later, when Becca was living in San Francisco and Jason in Idaho, that the two fell in love over long distance.  Becca is a contemporary ballet dancer, while Jason is an entrepreneur and graphic designer; together they designed a day that focused on their connection with close friends and family. They made use of November’s eclectic fall palette and created loads of charming décor for their Salt Lake City celebration.  These photos evoke such joy- a big thanks to Rebekah Westover for sharing them with us!

Head over to part two…

* Cozy Autumn Real Wedding by Amanda Julca Photography

Posted on October 1st, 2012 by Kate. Filed under Real Weddings.

Up in the PNW,  the air is surely getting a little crisper… and definitely making me in the mood for cozying up with warm fall colors and autumn inspirations.  Today I’m reveling in Courtney and Sawyer’s rustic woodland wedding in shades of rich chocolate, ivory, green and gold.  Although they now reside in Chicago,  the couple’s September nuptials took place in Columbus, Ohio, at the Taylor Mansion,  just blocks away from their first home. Courtney and Sawyer envisioned an intimate, candlelit garden wedding with a cool fall breeze. Together, they DIY’d the reception décor and selected 60′s, 70′s and 80′s songs played on vinyl throughout the day; most important of all, they treasured the time spent at home with their loved ones.  Enjoy this spread of photos by Amanda Julca!

Courtney is soooo stunning…and Amanda captured her bridal beauty with such ease.  I’m so admiring her long brunette locks, pulled half way up.  The bridal party wore chocolate gowns by Watters, adding an unforgettable depth to the palette.

The joy-filled ceremony on the mansion steps was threatened by rain earlier in the day, but it cleared in the nick of time.  Inspired by the neighborhood gardens,  apothecary jar adornments, mossy accents, crystal chandeliers, string lights and a pop of aqua color brought a whimsical woodland feel to the tented reception.

Crazy cute, aren’t they?

Don’t miss the rest in the full feature…
