Bec + Dave: A Sunny New South Wales Beach Wedding By Byron Loves Fawn
Posted by Sarah Title. Filed under Real Weddings

Photo: Byron Loves Fawn

Bec and Dave thought of all the things they loved as a couple for their big day in April. “From that, we decided on a simple ceremony on the beach followed by a picnic with cocktails and nibbles outside and a long lunch with an amazing 6 course menu, drinks, and dancing into the evening,” Bec said. The bride wore a tulle wedding gown with an illusion lace neckline and a pair of Kate Spade ‘Charm’ slingback pumps in platinum glitter whereas the groom wore a custom suit made from 100% Australian merino wool. A famous Winnie the Pooh quote by A.A. Milne greet guests on a chalkboard as the stuck their toes in the sand and awaited the couple’s nuptials. A table for two with velvet chairs sat along the shoreline for Bec and Dave to sign their marriage license at afterwards. Lawn games such as “klop” kept guests entertained and signature cocktails such as mojitos kept guests refreshed during cocktail hour. Lunch was served as long banquet tables with mix ‘n’ matched chairs. Such a fun idea! See the full board here.
