Fashion Friday: Sheathy and Chic
Posted by Kate. Filed under Wedding Dress

The classic sheath silhouette made a comeback on the Spring 2013 runways.  A great sheath dress reminds me of refined elegance, maturity, and sophistication…  Traditional sheaths fit close around the hips and taper toward the hemline, creating a very tailored look.  However, a bit of room and flow at the hem is more figure- flattering for a bride with some curves.

Are you thinking of a sheath?  One of these just might fit your fancy!

Trend Snippet: Pink Pretties
Posted by Kate. Filed under Wedding Dress

Happy Friday!  Whew… and it’s a holiday weekend too… hope you have something fun in store!  To send you off in style, I’ve selected a few lovelies from the new season of gowns… all with at least a dash of romantic, rosy pink!  I’m a huge fan of color in wedding gowns… for me, it doesn’t even need to be subtle, it only has to be done just right.

Posted by Kate. Filed under Wedding Dress

New York Bridal Week was filled with peplum-ey dresses… there were different shapes, different styles, and different sizes of peplums… and I just couldn’t help but notice that they have quite the effect.  On this oh-so-fashionable Friday, I thought I’d share a few of my favorites!

So.. what’s your take… what kind of effect does this sometimes frilly, sometimes flouncy, sometimes chic, and other times sophisiticated little peplum have on you?

(and don’t you worry, if you’re not so much in peplum-mode, we’ve got tons more NEW bridal fashion right {over here}).

Have a most fabulous weekend…
