DIY Wednesday: Moss Heart Décor

Moss is a beautiful greenery accent to use during the winter wedding season. It instantly warms up a space and is rich and earthy in texture. Moss is easy to mold and in the form of heart shapes, brings a dose of charm to a ceremony or reception space.  They can be used as bunting, a chair back, wall display or as a darling solution for aisle dividers.

Step One. First decide what shapes you would like the moss to be molded into. Trace and cut the shape out of thick card stock or cardboard.

Step Two. Purchase moss at your local craft store and tear it apart to create a more organic (wild) feel.

Step Three. Using hot glue, secure the moss to your molded cut out by the handful.

Step Four.  Glue string along the backside for bunting or use removable sticky tack to secure the molds directly to a wall (be sure to get permission from your venue first)!

What a cute craft!
