Denisse and Nick were married at Wedgewood Vellano Country Club in Chino Hills, Calif. on October 18. The couple first met almost seven years ago, working at Nordstrom. ”He is full of love and energy, he always finds ways to get me out of my shell, and puts a smile on my face, which I absolutely love,” Denisse said. “I couldn’t be happier.” The bride wore a sweetheart lace trumpet wedding gown, accessorized with a fingertip-length veil, while the groom wore a black suit, accessorized with a solid bow tie. Bridesmaids wore long purple chiffon dresses and carried bouquets of roses, peonies, and hydrangeas. ”The weather was great,” she said. “It was warm with a light breeze by the evening.” After being wed in front of 100 family and friends, the reception followed inside the clubhouse. ”We love the era of the 1920′s thru the 40′s and wanted to bring that up-to-date in our wedding,” Denisse said. “We kept repeating to each other that we wanted a ‘classic wedding.’” Tables were surrounded by chiavari chairs, decorated with gold charger plates, branch centerpieces dripping in crystals, and stemless wine glasses filled with mints, which also served double-duty as favors. Since the newlyweds were inspired by Louis Armstrong tunes, they performed their first dance to “La Vie En Rose.” A photo booth even provided extra entertainment too. Notice the “Ladies, powder your nose, and gents, comb your mustache” sign? See the full board here.

Lyndsay and Andrew were married at Aliso Viejo Country Club in Aliso Viejo, Calif. on March 29. “Andrew and I both love music and wanted our wedding to be centered around that,” Lyndsay said. “We had originally considered having a 50s-themed wedding but decided to tone it down a notch and incorporate vinyl records and other elements to give it a vintage feel.” The bride wore a blush a-line wedding gown, accessorized with a pair of high heels accented with glitter hearts, while the groom wore a dark gray three-piece suit, accessorized with a bow tie. Bridesmaids wore mix ‘n’ matched dresses and carried bouquets of roses, hydrangeas, and green tricks. Guests were directed to the outdoor ceremony with a poster that said, “Keep Going!” ”Our wedding turned out better than I could have imagined,” she said. “It’s kind of crazy to try and plan such a big event and just hope that it all turns out how you envisioned it.” The couple finally said, “I do” in front of 100 family and friends as their witnesses. Plus, they even helped decorate the indoor reception. “We were really lucky to have so many creatives and talents that did our flowers, invitations, hair, cake and desserts.” Notice the obsession with gold? Tables were decorated with rosette linens, antique vases and vessels, and favorite songs. The newlyweds performed their first dance to “Earth Angel” by Death Cab for Cutie and after dinner, dessert was served. A mini wedding cake plus macarons, cookies, pecan tarts, and more. Just wait until you see the getaway car! See the full board here.

Shana and Bryan were married at Greenville Country Club in Greenville, Del. on May 4. “Our wedding happened to coincide with the Kentucky Derby, so we figured ‘why not!’” Shana said. “We encouraged our guests to wear their most elegant hats, served signature Raspberry mint juleps and even ran bets between the ceremony and reception.” The bride wore a sweetheart lace fit ‘n’ flare wedding gown, accessorized with a jeweled sash, while the groom wore a tan seersucker suit, accessorized with a patterned bow tie. Bridesmaids wore long lavender chiffon dresses and carried bouquets of roses, delphiniums, and hydrangeas. Guests were greeted to the outdoor ceremony with a humorous wooden sign that said, “Mutual weirdness forever” from a Robert Fulghum quote. “Dinner and dancing were preceded by a big screen viewing of the horse races,” she said. “Bryan and I put together large gift baskets full of our ‘favorite things’ for one lucky winner, who picked the correct winner.” Tables were decorated with gray chevron runners, horse motif numbers, and mercury glass centerpieces and votive candles. The newlyweds performed their first dance to “What Can I Do (But Love You)” by Joy Williams and exited at the end of the night through colorful lightsabers. See the full board here.

Erica + Peter: A Preppy Navy Blue and Pink Fall Wisconsin Country Club Wedding By Laurie Marie Photography

Erica and Peter were married in Pamperin Park followed by a reception at Green Bay Country Club in Green Bay, Wis. on September 28. ”I immediately fell in love with the look of rustic elegance and went with it,” Erica said. “I love the natural look of wood and soft, muted colors, and I love the look of chandeliers, gold and lace as well.” The bride wore a sweetheart fit ‘n’ flare wedding gown with a ruffled skirt, accessorized with her hair half-up/half-down in loose curls, while the groom wore a navy blue suit, accessorized with a tie and pocket square. Bridesmaids wore short pink chiffon dresses and carried bouquets of garden roses, succulents, and berries. Guests were greeted with a wooden sign that said, “Today, two families become one, so pick a seat not a side.” ”Two rustic doors, constructed by my dad, stood before the aisle for our guests to walk through and were closed prior to my dad and I walking down the aisle,” she said. “We could not have asked for a better day!” she said. “It was a warm fall day with temps in the low 70′s and the sun shinning high.” Following their unity sand ceremony, dinner and dancing began. Tables were decorated with tall branch centerpieces draped with crystals, mason jars dipped in glitter, and lanterns too. Notice how glasses featured “I’m here for the cake” stickers? Such a fun touch! ”Our dessert bar included a cake, six different flavors of cupcakes, the best apple pie in the world, cookies, and chocolate covered strawberries,” Erica said. To the newlyweds’ surprise, a fireworks display ended the night. See the full board here.
