Kristen and Rob were married at Dellwood Country Club in Dellwood, Minn. on October 20. Kristen looked radiant in a strapless A-line gown featuring a lace bodice and a delicate pearl necklace. She wore her hair in a curly partial updo and carried a bright bouquet of roses, thistle, and calla lilies mixed with organic accents like lotus pods, scabiosa pods, fiddlehead fern curls, brunia berries, and seeded eucalyptus. Her ‘maids donned navy blue lace dresses featuring scalloped hem and necklines. The groom and his men looked dapper in light gray three-piece suits. “Kristen and Rob had the most perfect Minnesota weather for their outdoor ceremony. . .the sun was setting as they shared their vows and committed their lives to each other,” Erin Johnson, their photographer, said. The pair tied the knot under an arch adorned with flowers and greenery, as well as forest-inspired blooms. A reception followed in the club’s dining room, where guests were greeted by a wooden box adorned with bunting as a place to put well-wishes cards. “They included tons of DIY details, from the airplane place cards to the library card happily ever after guest book,” Erin said. The space was adorned with beautiful drapery, twinkling lights, and crystal beading. Guests sat at tables covered in white linens and tall branch centerpieces. Guests danced the night away and enjoyed a Belgian waffle wedding cake! “Their wedding was filled with organic and real emotions of love and laughter,” their photographer, Erin, said. Her ‘maids opted for floor-length deep blue one-shoulder dresses. The groom and his men looked dapper in classic black tuxes. It was recommended to us by another couple because the food is amazing!” Kimberly said of the wedding venue. A reception followed inside the golf and country club, where guests sat at round tables covered in crisp white linens. They were greeted at their seats by a thank you note on navy blue stationery and tulip centerpieces. Kimberly’s favorite DIY detail? The re-purposed wine bottle chalkboards used as table numbers. Denisse and Nick were married at Wedgewood Vellano Country Club in Chino Hills, Calif. on October 18. The couple first met almost seven years ago, working at Nordstrom. “He is full of love and energy, he always finds ways to get me out of my shell, and puts a smile on my face, which I absolutely love,” Denisse said. “I couldn’t be happier.” The bride wore a sweetheart lace trumpet wedding gown, accessorized with a fingertip-length veil, while the groom wore a black suit, accessorized with a solid bow tie. Bridesmaids wore long purple chiffon dresses and carried bouquets of roses, peonies, and hydrangeas. “The weather was great,” she said. “It was warm with a light breeze by the evening.” After being wed in front of 100 family and friends, the reception followed inside the clubhouse. “We love the era of the 1920’s thru the 40’s and wanted to bring that up-to-date in our wedding,” Denisse said. “We kept repeating to each other that we wanted a ‘classic wedding.'” Tables were surrounded by chiavari chairs, decorated with gold charger plates, branch centerpieces dripping in crystals, and stemless wine glasses filled with mints, which also served double-duty as favors. Since the newlyweds were inspired by Louis Armstrong tunes, they performed their first dance to “La Vie En Rose.” A photo booth even provided extra entertainment too. Notice the “Ladies, powder your nose, and gents, comb your mustache” sign? See the full board here.
