Courtney and Rudy are a fun-loving, bright couple, and their wedding couldn’t have been more of a reflection.  I’m all over their modern style (wait til you see all the fabulous patterning) and these extra-stunning photos by Gideon Photography!  A full day of festivities (morning ceremony, afternoon luncheon, and evening party), tons of support from family and friends, and the bold yellow and black design elements made it unforgettable.

These two sweethearts met in high school, and have been inseparable ever since.  After four years together, they decided it was time to tie the knot, so they planned a May wedding that was filled-to-the-brim with activity and joy.  Bloomers brought Courtney’s love of yellow hues, ranunculus and roses together in a glowing bouquet.  The bride and groom were dressed to the nines, Courtney in Mori Lee and Rudy in a sharp black tuxedo by Adrian’s. These two are adorably smitten… of course there’s nothing more inspiring than that.

The early ceremony at the temple progressed to a luncheon with family and close friends. The couple then kicked it up for a blast of a reception at the gorgeous Ledges, in their hometown of St. George, Utah.  The design elements were over the top… they found the just-right blend of chevron, polka-dots, and modern geometry patterns to end their celebration with a bang.  Lemon-filled floral arrangements,  a ceiling sprinkled with lanterns and a fetching candy bar are just a few of the inspiration ideas I absolutely love.

There were a a few surprises in store for the reception- the groom and his groomsmen sat Courtney down and serenaded her with a rendition of a Backstreet Boys song. Courtney laughed so hard she cried.  This couple shares a commitment, amongst others of course, to never take themselves or life too seriously. Not even when it came to the pristinely designed, four tiered modern beauty by For Goodness Cakes. As they cut the cake, Rudy beat Courtney to the punch and playfully smothered it all over her face!  Courtney redeemed herself, but admits that he ‘won.’ Love that zest…
