* DIY Wednesday: $10 Farmer’s Market Bouquet

One recent, lazy summer weekend I was puttering around the house after my weekly trip to the farmer’s market.  Up in Oregon, there are the best local florals at the market.  I buy ‘em by the bunches to brighten up the house.  On this particular weekend I scooped up two bunches of bright snapdragons at $5 per piece and a few stems of loose strife.  I thought they would make for very sweet, inexpensive bridesmaid bouquets.  So there I went, trying my hand at pulling together a little bouquet…. if I can do it, you can definitely do it!  Here’s a little how-to I put together and a few things I learned along the way…  Read the rest of this entry »
