Hot Pink + Charcoal Real Wedding by Sarina Love Photography
Posted by Kate. Filed under Real Weddings

Doesn’t that palette just sound so fabulous?  Michelle and Ken’s California wedding was enchanting to say the least.  With a modern vision, amazing details, and bright pink pops of color… there’s was a recipe for a fun, gorgeous wedding!  The two met when they were paired up as partners at a cotillion.  From the look of this first photo, it appears that Ken is as chivalrous as the day they met… so sweet!  A very special thanks to Sarina Love Photography for sending these photos our way….

I’ve never seen such a hot, hot pink bouquet!  Tracey Go  from The Flower Tray spray painted baby’s breath and billy balls to get the look.  The bouquets matched the bridal party’s custom-made attire to a tee.  Per the usual, it was a gorgeous sunny day in June in Southern California.

The bride is a nurse practitioner and the groom is an optometrist, so they had a “Rx for a good marriage” prescription pad for a little personalization! The bride made it herself, along with all the invitations, programs, seating assignments and menus. We love a good DIYer… with some help from Skybox Event Productions, the result was a ravishing reception at the Padua Hills Theater in Claremont.

The reception was relaxed, fun, and filled with dancing!  I’m in awe of this cake… it featured lyrics from their first dance song- Stay with You by John Legend. So unique and perfectly suited for the fabulous party.

Wishing newlywed bliss to Michelle + Ken!

Trendy Desert Wedding by Gideon Photography
Posted by Kate. Filed under Real Weddings

Lacey and Easton are a hip and stylin’ pair and their spring wedding in St. George, Utah, was a total reflection of them.  The day was filled to the brim with vibrant color and modern details like succulents, custom typography, a personalized monogram, and more.  We couldn’t be more happy to share their fabulous, trendy album by Gideon Photography! We really can’t get over the brilliant florals by Bloomers.  They set the tone for a truly vibrant day in the desert.  The wedding party was dressed in soft neutrals, which complemented the wow floral palette, red earthen desert, and incredible blue sky. The amazing design work of Kortney Eggertz could be found throughout the day… in the signage, wedding programs, menus, place settings and favors!  All of the paper goods showcased the custom typography and monogram that she created especially for Lacey and Easton.   Meanwhile, Forevermore Events ensured that everything was in its perfect place and the day went off without a hitch.

Perhaps one of our favorite parts of this modern wedding?  The cake- an amazing creation by Blanca’s Designer Cakes!  We’re in love with the gorgeous ripples on each tier and the ruffly sugar flower accent.

Don’t miss the rest of Lacey and Easton’s color-filled day in our real wedding gallery!

Sophisticated, Beach-Inspired Wedding by Tanja Lippert Photography

I’ve been waiting for weeks to share Marko and Merryl’s incredible beach-inspired wedding in Half Moon Bay!  Now that it’s finally time… I’m overjoyed and thoroughly excited.  This is one to bookmark/pin/and glean loads of inspiration from.  The couple married on a bluff overlooking the ocean.  A palette of fuchsia, navy and grey popped against an overcast summer day.  Oh… and did I mention the florals by Flowers Claire Marie?  Just wait and see…Here’s a peek at their gorgeous album by Tanja Lippert PhotographyMerryl was the picture of bridal sophistication in her exquisite Amsale gown.  The men looked classy in khakis, striped ties, and navy blue blazers.  Vibrant fuchsia bouquets contrasted the maids’ charcoal grey Dessy dresses.  Their style?  Impeccable.

But wait… that’s not even the half of it… see more from Marko and Merryl’s day right {here} and read their story just below.

All our best this stylish and altogether beautiful pair!
