Alexandra and Alejandro were married at Lakeside Golf Club in Toluca Lake, Calif. on May 31. The bride donned a strapless fit ‘n flare lace gown with a sweetheart neckline and wore her hair in a delicate updo. Her best pals were outfitted in short pink and blue dresses with various necklines. They all carried bouquets with garden roses, hydrangeas, and peonies. The groom and his men looked dashing in gray three-piece suits. The groom differentiated himself from the colored vests and neckties by sporting white. “We did a first look before the ceremony, ” Alexandra said. “It was our favorite part of the day. We weren’t married yet, but looking back, it was our only few minutes of uninterrupted time to just be together.” The couple was married under two large trees by Alexandra’s uncle in front of 170 guests. “We wrote our ceremony and included a variety of cultural traditions, ranging from Spanish traditions from our families, to the Irish tradition of handfasting,” Alexandra said. A cocktail hour followed, and then guests moved inside to a dining room where they were greeted by chalkboard signs. Escort cards guided them to round tables with white linens, gold chiavari chairs, and bright floral centerpieces. Guests chose from a variety of full-service food stations (one of which included a luau-style pig), and enjoyed a beer garden with five varieties of craft beer. Alexandra was incredibly happy with the whole day. “While we didn’t know exactly what we wanted when we started planning, it ended up getting something absolutely classic and perfect for us.” See the full board here.

Denisse and Nick were married at Wedgewood Vellano Country Club in Chino Hills, Calif. on October 18. The couple first met almost seven years ago, working at Nordstrom. ”He is full of love and energy, he always finds ways to get me out of my shell, and puts a smile on my face, which I absolutely love,” Denisse said. “I couldn’t be happier.” The bride wore a sweetheart lace trumpet wedding gown, accessorized with a fingertip-length veil, while the groom wore a black suit, accessorized with a solid bow tie. Bridesmaids wore long purple chiffon dresses and carried bouquets of roses, peonies, and hydrangeas. ”The weather was great,” she said. “It was warm with a light breeze by the evening.” After being wed in front of 100 family and friends, the reception followed inside the clubhouse. ”We love the era of the 1920′s thru the 40′s and wanted to bring that up-to-date in our wedding,” Denisse said. “We kept repeating to each other that we wanted a ‘classic wedding.’” Tables were surrounded by chiavari chairs, decorated with gold charger plates, branch centerpieces dripping in crystals, and stemless wine glasses filled with mints, which also served double-duty as favors. Since the newlyweds were inspired by Louis Armstrong tunes, they performed their first dance to “La Vie En Rose.” A photo booth even provided extra entertainment too.
