Denisse and Nick were married at Wedgewood Vellano Country Club in Chino Hills, Calif. on October 18. The couple first met almost seven years ago, working at Nordstrom. ”He is full of love and energy, he always finds ways to get me out of my shell, and puts a smile on my face, which I absolutely love,” Denisse said. “I couldn’t be happier.” The bride wore a sweetheart lace trumpet wedding gown, accessorized with a fingertip-length veil, while the groom wore a black suit, accessorized with a solid bow tie. Bridesmaids wore long purple chiffon dresses and carried bouquets of roses, peonies, and hydrangeas. ”The weather was great,” she said. “It was warm with a light breeze by the evening.” After being wed in front of 100 family and friends, the reception followed inside the clubhouse. ”We love the era of the 1920′s thru the 40′s and wanted to bring that up-to-date in our wedding,” Denisse said. “We kept repeating to each other that we wanted a ‘classic wedding.’” Tables were surrounded by chiavari chairs, decorated with gold charger plates, branch centerpieces dripping in crystals, and stemless wine glasses filled with mints, which also served double-duty as favors. Since the newlyweds were inspired by Louis Armstrong tunes, they performed their first dance to “La Vie En Rose.” A photo booth even provided extra entertainment too. Notice the “Ladies, powder your nose, and gents, comb your mustache” sign? See the full board here.

Hillary and Jake were married at Scripps Seaside Forum in La Jolla, Calif. on August 4. ”The most important thing to us was that our wedding reflected our personalities and our love for each other,” Hillary said. “We wanted a beautiful setting and to keep the decorations simple and focus on what was really important – celebrating our marriage with the most important people in the world to us.” The bride wore a lace fit ‘n’ flare wedding gown with an open back, accessorized with her hair half-up/half-down in loose curls, while the groom wore a black suit, accessorized with a bow tie and pocket square. Bridesmaids wore long Tiffany blue chiffon dresses and carried bouquets of pink astilbes. ”The day was beautiful and perfect temperature outside,” she said. “The breeze was fantastic from the ocean, and we could hear the waves crash against the shore as we said our vows.” The couple, along with their mothers, performed a sand ceremony to symbolize two families becoming one. Mothers too! Cocktail hour began with signature drinks – “Blushing Bride” and “Golden Groom” – and guests taking pictures and hashtagging them with #jakeandhillary2013 on Instagram. Tables were decorated with floating candle centerpieces, family photos, and of course, assorted seashells on place cards. The newlyweds’ best advice? ”Enjoy your day! The day goes so fast so my advice is to slow down, take a great look around, and give your new spouse and extra kiss. There will never be another day quite like your wedding day so enjoy it as much as you can.” she said. See the full board here.

Taryn + Troy: A Glamorous Purple and Gold Fall Louisiana Ballroom Wedding By Arte De Vie

Taryn and Troy were married at Royal Sonesta Hotel New Orleans in New Orleans, La. on October 12. ”The inspiration for my wedding really just came from my love of shiny things!” Taryn said. ”A lot of our guests traveled from near and far for the wedding, so we wanted to make sure they got the true New Orleans experience. Seven months later, we are still hearing guests say how much they loved NOLA and how they plan to go back. I think having the wedding located in a centralized location like Bourbon Street was key.” The bride wore a sweetheart ball gown with a floral applique bodice, accessorized with a hair half-up/half-down in loose curls, while the groom wore a a two-tone dark gray and black suit, accessorized with a solid tie. Bridesmaids wore long silk purple one-shoulder dresses and carried bouquets of roses, ranunculuses, and pincushions. The candlelit ceremony took place inside the ballroom with 175 of their closest family and friends. Fun fact: Troy’s uncle officiated! ”The best thing I did was requesting to see my reception room before the doors were opened to guests,” she said. “I had such a vision in my head of what I wanted to be that I wanted to soak it in before it was touched by anyone. Let me tell you, my breathe was literally taken away! The doors opened and as I stood there . . . I couldn’t believe it was all right in front of me.” Reception tables were decorated with sequin linens, tall centerpieces, street names, and ghost chairs. ”I thought my heart was going to be dead set on my favorite bakery in New Orleans, but to my surprise the hotel did a far better job of the presentation and flavor of the cake!” Taryn said. At the end of the night, the newlyweds enjoyed a Second Line parade complete with a brass band and parasols. See the full board here.

Leigh + Kyle: A Glamorous Gold Fall Texas Resort Wedding By Caroline + Ben Photography

High school sweethearts Leigh and Kyle were married at Horseshoe Bay Resort in Horseshoe Bay, Texas last fall. The bride wore a sweetheart lace fit ‘n’ flare wedding gown, accessorized with a floral sash and chapel-length veil in her loose blonde curls, while the groom wore a gray suit, accessorized with a striped tie. Bridesmaids wore short dresses in various neutral colors and carried bouquets of roses, ranunculuses, and dusty millers. Due to inclement rainy weather, the ceremony took place inside underneath a gazebo with aisles lined in lanterns. Fun fact: Kyle is a professional baseball player. So, of course, the newlyweds wanted to incorporate this into their reception. Guests were asked to write well wishes on bases. Tables were decorated with sequin linens, tall candelabra centerpieces, and mercury glass candles. In addition to the five-tiered cake, there were also cookies. At the end of the night, it wasn’t sparklers that sent them off to their honeymoon in Fiji it was ___ . Fill in the blank! (Hint: It’s a nod to a sport.) See the full board here.
