Andra + Kevin: A Gold and Pink Church Wedding by Nadia D. Photography
Posted by Sarah Zlotnick. Filed under Real Weddings

There’s no time quite like the beginning of May for a flowery wedding! Today we’re sharing a formal cherry blossom-inspired wedding from Atlanta, Georgia. Andra and Kevin worked with a palette of pear green, soft pink, and glittery gold to create their fun and feminine celebration. From the moss initials on the church door to the bride’s beautiful Badgley Mischka shoes, we are loving every detail! Thanks to Nadia D. Photography for sending along the photos.

Believe it or not, Andra and Kevin bonded over math—he was her calculus tutor in college! The duo moved to Atlanta after graduating from the University of Georgia, and decided to cement the new city as home by holding their ceremony at the Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. Their reception was at the Cherokee Town Club in Buckhead, and every beautiful glimmering detail was planned by the bride and her mother.  ”April in Atlanta means cherry blossoms,” says Andra, and the branches overflowed from every table (and the cake!). Touches of mercury glass and gold sparkle rounded out the elegant decor.

Fashion Friday: A Greek Goddess Ensemble
Posted by Sarah Zlotnick. Filed under Bridal Fashion

A hot summer wedding on the Mediterranean calls for a strapless neckline and a long, easy-fit skirt, don’t you think? For today’s inspired bridal ensemble, we’re taking our cues straight from Athena, Aphrodite, and the rest of the Greek Goddesses—and we think the look is perfect for a carefree beach bride who still wants to radiate a little elegance. Keep accessories consistent on this one: a bevy of flora-inspired gold jewelry dresses things up, and gladiator sandals in the same tone will keep you standing (and dancing!) long into the night.
