Alexandra and Alejandro were married at Lakeside Golf Club in Toluca Lake, Calif. on May 31. The bride donned a strapless fit ‘n flare lace gown with a sweetheart neckline and wore her hair in a delicate updo. Her best pals were outfitted in short pink and blue dresses with various necklines. They all carried bouquets with garden roses, hydrangeas, and peonies. The groom and his men looked dashing in gray three-piece suits. The groom differentiated himself from the colored vests and neckties by sporting white. “We did a first look before the ceremony, ” Alexandra said. “It was our favorite part of the day. We weren’t married yet, but looking back, it was our only few minutes of uninterrupted time to just be together.” The couple was married under two large trees by Alexandra’s uncle in front of 170 guests. “We wrote our ceremony and included a variety of cultural traditions, ranging from Spanish traditions from our families, to the Irish tradition of handfasting,” Alexandra said. A cocktail hour followed, and then guests moved inside to a dining room where they were greeted by chalkboard signs. Escort cards guided them to round tables with white linens, gold chiavari chairs, and bright floral centerpieces. Guests chose from a variety of full-service food stations (one of which included a luau-style pig), and enjoyed a beer garden with five varieties of craft beer. Alexandra was incredibly happy with the whole day. “While we didn’t know exactly what we wanted when we started planning, it ended up getting something absolutely classic and perfect for us.” See the full board here.

Vy and David were married at Oak Creek Golf Club in Irvine, Calif. on November 2. “We became friends over a mutual love of coffee, movies, music, and Disney, and realized that we also made great traveling companions,” Vy said. “After several trips throughout Asia, we became inseparable.” The bride wore a strapless lace a-line wedding gown, accessorized with her hair sideswept in loose curls, while the groom wore a light gray three-piece suit, accessorized with a solid tie. Bridesmaids wore chiffon navy blue dresses with hi-lo hemlines and carried bouquets of roses, freesiaas, and seeded eucalyptus wrapped in satin. “Our wedding inspiration was our theme of ‘favorite things,'” she said. “We wanted to incorporate the different aspects of our relationship that we enjoyed and wanted to share and highlight them with our family and friends.” Notice the Lego 3-D superhero figurine on this groomsmen’s lapel? Each one also wore revovler and holster socks. “We got married on a warm November day,” Vy said. “Much warmer for a fall day than we had anticipated! Some even traveled as far as Vietnam and the Philippines to be a part of our special day.” The ceremony arch was drapped with fabric and pinned with pom poms, aisles were lined with craft beer bottles, and folding chairs included a crossword puzzle. “Our fan programs featured a ‘Do you know the couple?’ crossword puzzle for guests to spend time playing before the ceremony started,” she said. After the outdoor nuptials, cocktail hour began with signature mojito drinks. Guests found their seats at the reception via “Admit One” tickets. “I wanted to keep things simple,” Vy said. Table names were movie posters, and at each place setting, there was coffee favor bags. “Neither of us are fans of cake, so we opted for a desser bar featuring our favorite sweets,” she said. Desserts included cheesecake, cupcakes, lemon tartlets, and macarons. See the full board here.

Mallory and TJ were married at Running Deer Golf Club in Pittsgrove, N.J. on May 25. “After that first date, we were both smitten,” Mallory said. “We saw each other a few other times that month and things quickly progressed into a wonderful relationship. We had been dating for a year and a half when he popped the question!” The bride wore a strapless satin mermaid wedding gown, accessorized with a jeweled sash and fingertip-length veil, while the groom wore a black suit, accessorized with a white vest and tie. Bridesmaids wore short navy blue chiffon dresses and carried bouquets of roses and hydrangeas. “I just wanted something simple, elegant and classic,” she said. “My approach was to stay on a budget and keep things simple while adding fun creative touches.” Guests were greeted at the ceremony with a sign that said, “Today, two families become one. We ask that you please pick a seat not a side.” “Our wedding day was the most perfect day,” she said. “The sun was shining, the sky was beautiful blue, and the breeze was just enough to keep comfortable under the sunny skies and considering we were married outdoors – it was perfect.” Can’t you tell that it was full of laughter — and some tears? Following the nuptials, cocktail hour began, then the reception inside the ballroom. There was even a cigar bar! The newlyweds performed their first dance to “Close Your Eyes” by Michael Buble, and cut their four-tiered monogrammed cake in between toasts. “I would not have changed a thing!” Mallory said. Beth + Mike: A Sage Green Fall New Jersey Golf Club Wedding By Langdon Photography
Posted by Sarah Title. Filed under Real Weddings

Photos: Langdon Photography

After a two-year engagement, Beth and Mike finally tied the knot at Running Deer Golf Club in Pittsgrove, N.J. surrounded in rustic elegance. “When Mike asked my father for my hand in marriage, he confessed to opening a bank account to save for a ring after our first date.” Beth said. Meanwhile, she kept her Watters wedding dress a secret the entire time! And her grandmother was a florist, so the wedding flower arrangements were extremely important to her, minus the wedding invitations. “After designing a couple of close friends’ wedding invitations, my brother’s wedding invitations and having an invitation selected to be sold on Minted.com, doing my own stationery seemed like a no-brainer,” she said. Bridesmaids wore long sage dresses with their neckline of choice, and groomsmen wore plaid patterned ties and red berry boutonnieres. Aisles were lined with mini pumpkins and glowing lanterns as Beth walked down the aisle to “Heartbeats” by Jose Gonzalez with both parents. “We both are truly grateful to all of our friends and family who surrounded us with so much love,” Beth said. They techie couple also created their own app to collect photos from their big day! As for favors, Mike brewed his own homemade flavored apricot wheat beer. See the full board here.
