Andrea and Gregory were married at Elkins Resort on Priest Lake in Priest Lake, Idaho on March 1. The bride stunned in an all-lace dress featuring illusion lace long sleeves. Her hair was donned in a side updo and she accessorized with a birdcage veil. She carried a white and green bouquet of hydrangeas, calla lilies, ranunculuses, and seeded eucalyptus. Her ‘maids bundled up in navy blue coats, sage scarves, and warm boots. The groomsmen looked dapper in navy three-piece tweed suits, complete with checkered button downs, and gray bow ties. The couple knew right away that  this was the perfect location for them, since that’s where they got engaged. “We were inspired by the natural beauty, cozy winter getaway…and magic of a snowy winter wedding,” Andrea said of their wedding inspiration. The ceremony took place outside (in single digit temperatures) and featured pine cone aisle markers, and the littlest attendant riding on a sled down the aisle! A friend officiated the wedding and wrote a personal ceremony. “Our guests were incredibly gracious in tolerating our request to be married outside,” Andrea said. “Everyone bundled up, huddled around patio heaters, and warmed up with hand warmers, blankets, and hot chocolate.” An indoor reception followed, where guests ate, drank, and danced all night! “Looking around at all the friends and family willing to travel the snowy roads and stand outside with us while we got married, it hit both of us just how much love surrounded us,” Andrea recalled. Darya + Cameron: Nature-Inspired Idaho Lake Wedding by Let it Shine Photography

Darya and Cameron tied the knot at a private residence on Cascade Lake in Donnelley, Idaho followed by a reception at The Ashley Inn in Cascade, Idaho on May 31. “We wanted to capture our love for the outdoors by getting married outside on a private property…surrounded by all our loved ones,” Darya said. The bride looked radiant in an ombre tulle ball gown. She wore her hair down in soft waves and accessorized with a floral hair wreath. She carried a bouquet of ivory peonies and pink garden roses. Her ‘maids donned long blush gowns of their choosing, Darya just asked that they all be long and in the same color family. The groom and his men looked handsome in three-piece tan suits with light blue neck ties. The 150 guests gathered at the private residence to watch Darya and Cameron literally tie the knot- the couple had a hand fasting ceremony as part of their vows. The couple also had their dogs act as the ring bearer and flower girl. “It got a little blustery during our ceremony since we were on the edge of the lake but it ended up being a gorgeous day afterwards and apparently the wind just helped showcase my beautiful dress even more,” Darya described. After they officially became husband and wife, the couple held a reception at The Ashley Inn. The decor showed off their love for nature with pine cones, moss, and wood as the centerpieces at each of the round tables. They offered unique alternatives for dessert, a s’mores bar and dessert shooters. Darya’s advice to engaged couples? “Take moments out of the whirlwind madness and look around and take deep breaths and take it all in.” See the full board here.

Anna + Mike: A DIY Boho Chic Summer Idaho Ranch Wedding By Erin Leigh

Anna and Mike were married at Fall River Ranch in Ashton, Idaho last summer. The couple first met 10 years ago, when she frequented the snow-cone shack where he worked. “Finally, one day I had the guts to write my number down on a napkin and give it to him,” Anna said.  After deciding on a destination wedding four hours away from their home in Salt Lake City, they officially had all 40 acres of the property to themselves for the weekend, including no cell service. “Mike and I decided to have a getaway wedding because we only wanted the people there who wanted to be,” she said. The bride wore a v-neck lace wedding gown with a tiered ruffled skirt, accessorized with a floral wreath in her updo, while the groom wore tan suit, accessorized with a blue tie. “It was very important for me to buy my bridesmaids dresses for them,” Anna said. “So, I shopped with each of them to find the perfect style. No one’s body is the same, and I wanted them to feel the best they could and comfortable.” Bouquets were freshly-picked wildflowers wrapped in lace around the stems. Guests were greeted with a welcome sign that encouraged them to hashtag “mike+anna” on their Instagram pictures. “When it came to the wedding decor, we did it all ourselves,” she said. “We used all of my Depression-era glassware, my grandparents collected vintage medicine bottles for me and after many trips to vintage markers and estate sales I had a large selection of vintage items to use as vessels.” Following the evening nuptials, the newlyweds performed their first dance to “Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts, but due to a sound system snafu, they ended up dancing to “Lego House” by Ed Sheeran, dinner was served on vintage china, and in lieu of a traditional tiered cake, a red velvet bundt cake was served.
