Stephanie and Shaun were married at Castle Hill Inn in Newport, R.I. on July 12. The bride looked lovely in an A-line, v-neck gown accented with a crystal belt. She wore her hair in a curly updo and carried a bouquet of white roses and peonies. Her ‘maids donned short blush chiffon gowns and white orchid leis. The groom and his men looked dapper in dark three-piece suits and wore maile leis as a nod the bride’s mother’s Hawaiian heritage. Stephanie and Shaun tied the knot overlooking the Atlantic Ocean under a stone arbor adorned with flowers. “The weather on our wedding day was perfect! It was sunny with clear skies, and a light sea-breeze,” Stephanie said. “We had a gorgeous sunset that evening!” After the couple recessed down the petal-strewn aisle they enjoyed signature mint and raspberry signature cocktails around tables with textured blush linens. A reception followed under a white draped tent with chandeliers and string lights. “I have always loved the Great Gatsby, roaring ’20s glamour and knew I wanted a wedding that captured the romance and elegance of that era,” Stephanie explained. The reception was vintage travel-themed and each table was named after a place that was special to the bride and groom. Each seat was identified with a luggage tag and each table featured a postcard explaining why that particular city was so important to the newlyweds, which were made by the bride’s sister. The guests enjoyed a three-course meal, followed by a three-tier cake adorned with pastel flowers. Stephanie’s tip for engaged couples? “My best advice when planning a wedding is to invest in a GREAT photographer,” she said. See the full board here.

Lori and Matt were married at the Woodstock Inn in Woodstock, Vt. on July 11. Lori looked breathtaking in a chiffon A-line gown with lace cap sleeves and a satin sash. She wore her hair in an updo and donned a short veil. Her ‘maids stunned in short chiffon dresses in various shades of blush and ivory. They carried bouquets of baby’s breath and floral clutches with cloth flowers, while Lori carried a romantic bouquet of soft roses. The groom and his men looked dapper in tan three-piece suits and pink ties. The couple officially tied the knot on the lawn of the Woodstock Inn in front of 160 friends and family members sitting in white folding chairs. The aisle was marked with white hydrangeas and spray roses. “We wanted a classy but casual wedding,” Lori said. “We were not overly concerned with details. We wanted the overall feel to be romantic and lovely.” A reception followed inside the inn, where guests sat at elegant round tables featuring floral centerpieces. The pair sat at a sweetheart table decorated with ivory linens and votive candles. After dinner, guests indulged in a three-tier cake adorned with ombre macaroons and a white hydrangea on top. Lori’s advice to engaged couples is simple and to the point, “Enjoy the day, get a wedding planner!” See the full board here.

Francisca + Robert: A Glamorous Pink Summer California Inn Wedding By The Bird & The Bear – Photography & Films

Francisca and Robert were married at the Inn at Park Winters in Winters, Calif. on September 7. “I really envisioned a vintage country wedding and the location gave me that,” Francisca said. The bride wore a strapless lace mermaid wedding gown with a ruffled skirt, accessorized with her hair half-up/half-down with a jeweled headband and floor-length veil, while the groom wore three-piece black suit, accessorized with a tie. Bridesmaids wore short purple chiffon dresses and carried bouquets of roses, hydrangeas, mums, and altromerias. The ceremony took place underneath an altar draped with white gauze and crystal beading. “It was an extremely warm day! Luckily, it was in the late afternoon, so it had cooled off a bit by the time the wedding rolled around,” she said. “The ceremony was lovely, and I was very excited to see all of the details of a year and a half’s worth of planning come to fruition.” The reception was oh-so sweet! Why? Because tables were decorated with gray linens, chargers (topped with a candy apple), centerpieces with mirrors accents, and mercury glass votive candles. “The florist did such a great job,” she said. “They really helped in transforming and adding to the ambience.” “What I was most excited about was the cake, dessert table, and candy bar,” Francisca said. “I had worked with Chanelle Molina of just stick a fork in it, and I couldn’t wait to see what she had come up with. Her set up was fabulous, and very easy to grab something here and there without it looking messy or empty.” The candy bar was inspired from the movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, including a framed quote that said, “Candy is dandy.” Guests danced the night away after dinner on the dance floor, and were sent home with do-it-yourself honey jar favors attached with “Thanks for sharing in our sweet beginnings” tags. The newlyweds’ best advice? “Pick one or two things that are pricey and make them your priority,” she said. “Be specific, but also realize that not everything will go exactly as planned. Lastly, you will always run late. Don’t worry about it. It will all be okay!” See the full board here.

Maria + Darren: Elegant Summer California Inn Wedding by Sisterlee Photography

Maria and Darren were married at The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in the St. Francis of Assisi Chapel in Riverside, Calif. on June 14. “We met nineteen years ago when we were 12 years old,” Maria said. “I was the one who chased him! I remember telling my older brother’s best friend that I loved Darren and was going to marry him.” The bride flattered in a fitted strapless lace gown and cathedral-length veil. Her wavy locks were clipped back with a sparkly hair pin and she opted for a simple necklace and earrings. She carried a classic bouquet of white peonies. The groom wore a black suit with a patterned neck tie and a white peony boutonniere. Her ‘maids wore bright red chiffon floor-length strapless dresses and carried bouquets of white peonies and roses. “Since my bridesmaids dresses were so bright and fun, I didn’t want to over do it with accent colors,” Maria said. The groomsmen were outfitted in gray three-piece suits, patterned ties, and calla lily boutonnieres. A reception followed the traditional church ceremony in the music room at The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa. Guests sat in chiavari chairs at round tables with tall floral centerpieces. “I kept the linens and flowers very simple; all ivory,” Maria said. ” I tied in the theme of my lace wedding dress to the cake, votive candles and all the bouquets were wrapped in lace.” After dinner, guests indulged in an all-white tiered cake topped with white peonies, of course! “I really wanted to keep it traditional yet contemporary at the same time,” Maria said. She definitely succeeded, and even managed to gather her all of her guests together to take a group photo! See the full board here.
