Natalie + Brian: A Rustic Riverside Fall Maryland Wedding By Karena Dixon Photography

Natalie and Brian were married along the Chester River at a private farm estate in Queenstown, Md. last October. “Our mothers were in a ‘mothers group’ when they were pregnant with both of us,” Natalie said. “So, we have literally known each other our whole lives. We were childhood friends and began dating our junior year of high school.” These sweethearts knew they wanted a classic yet elegant wedding full of rustic details. Almost everything was DIY, from the wooden signage and paper leaf escort cards to the pumpkin centerpieces and homemade caramel popcorn favors in brown bags. “It was a gorgeous fall day – better than I could have imagined,” she said. “All the trees in the backyard were a warm golden yellow color. It started to cloud up after the ceremony, but it never really start to rain, which was great!” Since the couple didn’t do a first look, they decided to take portraits following the ceremony. Natalie was glowing in her lace wedding gown, accessorized with a curly side updo, while Brian looked dapper in his tan suit, accessorized with suspenders and a bow tie. Their golden retriever puppy even made an appearance in a few photos too! The night ended with a sparkler send off and the newlyweds cruising off in a vintage car. See the full board here.
