Jennifer and Scott were married at Four Seasons Vail in Vail, Colo. on November 23. The bride looked beautiful in a strapless ballgown with a beaded bodice and sweetheart neckline. She wore a fur coat and fingertip veil. Her hair was donned in a tussled updo and she accessorized with a thing white headband. She carried a bouquet of white roses, ranunculus, dusty miller, pine cones, seeded eucalyptus, and silver brunia balls. The groom looked dapper in a gray three-piece suit and cowboy hat. The pair planned their Colorado nuptials in just three weeks. “A short engagement is the best. A little stress for a short period of time,” Jennifer said of the timeline. “I couldn’t have made it anymore amazing if I had an entire year to plan it.” The 35 guests gathered to watch the pair exchange vows in front of a stunning mountain backdrop. A reception followed where guests gathered around a banquet table with blush linens, planks of barnwood, mercury glass votives, and birch vases filled with flowers. “A banquet style table was beautiful and much more intimate with the size of our wedding,” Jennifer said of the seating arrangements. Guests enjoyed dinner and a three-tier white fondant cake adorned with satin ribbon, pinecones, and white flowers. Jennifer’s advice to brides getting married far from home? ” If you are having a destination wedding you must have a coordinator!” See the full board here.

Andrea and Brian were married at SaddleRidge Beaver Creek in Avon, Colo. on September 14. “We love the mountains and the surrounding nature was our inspiration,” Andrea said. “We found a venue that evoked the rustic elegance we were looking for and didn’t require much additional decor other than candles and a few flowers. We focused on the natural scenery as our theme and inspiration!” The bride wore a sweetheart a-line wedding gown with lace appliques, accessorized with a pair of sparkly peep-toe platform pumps, while the groom wore a light gray suit, accessorized with a solid tie. Bridesmaids wore long teal chiffon dresses and carried bouquets of roses wrapped in burlap. Even each groomsmen received sports-themed cufflinks such as the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Flyers. “The infamous Boulder floods caused major delays for guests, who experienced bumper-to-bumper traffic and detours from Denver airport to the mountains,” she said. “A trip that should have taken just two hours, took some people up to eight hours! However, we lucked out with beautiful weather anyways.” Hence, why a chalkboard sign greeted them with, “rain or shine it’s party time.” Nestled in the garden, Brian’s father officiated the ceremony in front of a close-knit of 85. The reception was held inside the resort’s restaurant. Tables were decorated with birch bark centerpieces, mercury glass votive candles, and picture frame numbers. Specialty wines were served from Dave Matthew’s The Dreaming Tree winery too! The newlyweds performed their first dance to “Better Than Love” by Griffith House, and in lieu of a traditional cake, Ukranian bread, called a koroval, was cut. The favors? Bags of assorted nuts. “It was one large party. I wish I could relive the night every year,” Andrea said. See the full board here.

Lisa + Adam: A Rustic Blush Mountainside Georgia Resort Wedding By Brio Art

Photos: Brio Art by Katie Fears

After five years of dating, Lisa and Adam decided to make it official at The Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa with the Blue Ridge Mountains as their backdrop. The bride wore a Casablanca Couture gown with a sweetheart neckline whereas bridesmaids wore an array of different colored pink dresses they chose themselves. “For the bridesmaids, I wanted their bouquets to literally be in their hair, so they carried eucalyptus and loaded their hair with flowers,” Lisa said. As guests arrived to the ceremony, cold water was offered in beverage dispensers and straw fans to beat the heat. They couldn’t help but notice the “Cowabunga” sign as they found their seats. “We are both HUGE Mountain Dew drinkers and have been since we were kids,” she said. “So, during our vows, to everyone’s surprise, when we said ‘I do’ we each took a swig of Mountain Dew! So, really we said ‘I DEW!” Cocktail hour featured lawn games such as corn hole and giant jenga. Reception tables were decorated with table numbers made by the bride’s grandmother, and mason jars used as lighting vessels hung from the high beamed ceiling. In lieu of a guest book, Lisa’s dad created a canvas, where each guest could paint a portion. The newlyweds now have it showcased in their home. See the full board here.
