Lauren and Drew were married at the groom’s parents home along the Severn River in Annapolis, Md. last spring. ”We truly felt that our wedding day was not just a celebration of each other, but also for everyone who made us into the couple we are today,” Lauren said. The bride wore a v-neck mermaid wedding gown with a beaded bodice and tulle skirt, accessorized with a floral wreath in her sideswept ponytail, while the groom wore a navy blue suit, accessorized with a striped tie and pair of Sperry Top-Sider boat shoes. Bridesmaids wore short coral dresses in various fabrics and carried bouquets of hydrangeas. Believe it or not — Lauren arrived to the ceremony on a boat — and 220 guests were in attendance when the couple said their, “I do’s.” Afterwards, a bagpiper led the recessional into the tent. Tables were decorated with gray linens and tall floral centerpieces, signature spiked lemonade and watermelon mojito cocktails and seafood fare were served, and crab mallet favors were at each place setting. There even was fun, games, (and candy) for the kids! Notice the goodie bags? A long night of dancing with provided flip flops ended with a sparkler send off and safe travels to their African safari honeymoon. See the full board here.

Jessie + Alex: A Nautical Beach Florida Wedding By Nichole Burnett Photography

Jessie and Alex were married on a backyard dock along Seagrove Beach, Fla. surrounded by their closest family and friends September 14. From the save-the-dates, invitations, and ceremony programs, guests could tell that it was nautical themed — check out those motifs! The bride walked down the aisle wearing a blush Maggie Sottero wedding gown with lace appliques, accessorized with her hair half-up/half-down in loose curls.  Her bouquet featured romantic roses and dusty millers. During the ceremony, the couple opted to light a unity candle, symbolic to two their families becoming one. A display of beverage tappers, complete with ice-cold water, lemonade, and ice tea, were a refreshing treat against summer heat. The reception followed at The Lazy Snail, a rental home, decorated with lanterns, and koozie “To Have and To Hold and To Keep Your Beer Cold” favors at each place setting. At the end of the night, sparklers were lit as the newlyweds bid farewell. See the full board here.

Lauren and Jon were married at San Diego’s Rowing Club in late July. ”We are pretty laid back people and knew that we wanted the wedding to be a reflection of that and a chance for everyone we love, family and friends, to gather in a relaxed atmosphere,” Lauren said. On the day of the wedding, it was overcast, and the minute the music started at the ceremony, it started to rain. Thankfully, it stopped just in time for cocktail hour and the reception. The bride looked oh-so pretty in her J.Crew wedding gown, accessorized with a belt. Her bouquet featured hand-picked succulents and a combination of white and pale peach flowers. Guests found their seats via sea shells, signed a painted white oar with well wishes, and enjoyed the sweetest favors — Swedish Fish! See the full board here.
