Jessica and Galen were married at the Crossed Keys Inn in Andover, New Jersey on August 17. Jessica looked stunning in an all-lace fit ‘n flare strapless gown accented with a satin sash. Her hair was in a curly partial updo and accessorized with crystal drop earrings. She carried a bouquet of au lait dahlias, garden roses, silver brunia berries, tied together with a lace ribbon. Her ‘maids wore short blush chiffon dresses with various necklines. The groom and his men looked dapper in dark suits and neck ties. The pair tied the knot in a garden at the inn behind an old barn. “We wanted the aesthetic to reflect a vintage chic feel,” Jessica said. “We didn’t want a sleek, modern, fancy theme. Rather, we were attracted to the simple charm of an outdoor tent wedding that would allow us to infuse small, unique design touches.” A tented reception followed at the inn. A welcome table displayed a framed escort card board, photos of the couple, and mercury glass votive candles. In lieu of a traditional guestbook, the couple had their guests sign a black and white tree print. Friends and family sat at round tables with white linens and gray table runners, with flowers and wooden table numbers as the centerpieces. Guests enjoyed a three-course meal and danced the night away on the dance floor. “The band gathered all the Muhlenberg alumni on the dance floor and with about 40 friends from our Alma mater in one big huddle, we could really feel the love of our friends who have become our family,” Jessica said. For dessert a three tier cake was served and it was adorned with pink and white flowers. “Remember, you’re going to have a blast no matter what unforeseen circumstances arise,” Jessica said.  Mallory and TJ were married at Running Deer Golf Club in Pittsgrove, N.J. on May 25. “After that first date, we were both smitten,” Mallory said. “We saw each other a few other times that month and things quickly progressed into a wonderful relationship. We had been dating for a year and a half when he popped the question!” The bride wore a strapless satin mermaid wedding gown, accessorized with a jeweled sash and fingertip-length veil, while the groom wore a black suit, accessorized with a white vest and tie. Bridesmaids wore short navy blue chiffon dresses and carried bouquets of roses and hydrangeas. “I just wanted something simple, elegant and classic,” she said. “My approach was to stay on a budget and keep things simple while adding fun creative touches.” Guests were greeted at the ceremony with a sign that said, “Today, two families become one. We ask that you please pick a seat not a side.” “Our wedding day was the most perfect day,” she said. “The sun was shining, the sky was beautiful blue, and the breeze was just enough to keep comfortable under the sunny skies and considering we were married outdoors – it was perfect.” Can’t you tell that it was full of laughter — and some tears? Following the nuptials, cocktail hour began, then the reception inside the ballroom. There was even a cigar bar! The newlyweds performed their first dance to “Close Your Eyes” by Michael Buble, and cut their four-tiered monogrammed cake in between toasts. “I would not have changed a thing!” Mallory said. Kristen + Ken: A Preppy Patriotic-Themed Seaside Fall New Jersey Hotel Wedding By 217 Photography

Kristen and Ken were married at Congress Hall in Cape May, N.J. on October 12. Since the couple currently resides in New York City, they decided to have a mini-destination wedding at one of the nation’s best beach towns! The bride wore a sweetheart satin mermaid wedding gown, accessorized with her hair in a classic updo and comb, while the groom wore a dark gray suit, accessorized with a patterned tie. Bridesmaids wore short navy blue dresses and carried bouquets of white dahlias, red roses, and purple thistles. Don’t you just love their J.Crew bow pumps? Since the handfasting ceremony was to take place on the historic hotel’s front porch, guests were greeted with a chalkboard sign that said, “Snuggle Up” and asked to grab shawls to keep warm. After the newlyweds were announced husband and wife, the celebration began. Keeping with the seaside theme, escort cards were held in place with tiny pieces of coral, but reception tables were decorated with silver charger plates, napkins wrapped in striped ribbon, and lantern centerpieces that lit up the ballroom. Of course, the night ended with a picture picture moment of the four-tiered cake being cut. See the full board here.

Kira + Mike: A DIY Yellow and Sage Green Spring New Jersey Mill Wedding By LeAnna Theresa Photography

Kira and Mike were married at Prallsville Mills in Stockton, N.J. on June 8. They first met in high school, but didn’t start dating until a few years after they graduated. Since they share a love for camping and hiking, in 2011, they drove cross-country together for 42 days. “It was during that trip, at the Grand Canyon, that Mike proposed to me!” Kira said. The bride wore a lace fit ‘n’ flare wedding gown, accessorized with a fingertip-length veil, while the groom wore a sage green button-up, gray suit pants, and a cap. “Our first look was such a special moment and made me feel so much less nervous before getting married,” she said. “It did not in any way ruin the moment of first seeing each other as we walked down the aisle.” Bridesmaids wore bright, sunshine yellow dresses and matching TOMS wedges, which were gifts. “I loved my something blue,” Kira said. “I put on a fake tattoo that said, ‘Okay, let’s do this,’ and wore it on my calf. It was fun and non-traditional.” The ceremony was contributed by multiple family and friends — Mike’s uncle played the bagpipes and Kira’s best friend’s father officiated. Guests were escorted to their seats with a photo! “My most favorite detail and project was creating the place cards,” she said. “I decided that any Facebook photo was fair game and searched for my favorite of each guest invited. Then, I uploaded it to an app called ‘Picasa,’ which allowed me to turn the pictures into a polaroid style.” The newlyweds were undecided on where they wanted to go on their honeymoon, so they asked guests to write on a globe where they thought the destination should be. Not a bad idea, right? See the full board here.
