Our first day in New York was already full of all sorts of pretty.  I wish I could transmit telepathically all the gorgeousness we’ve seen!  Unfortunately I’m not that skilled, so you’ll have to settle for a top ten… coming to you in two parts.  In no particular order (although we definitely have our faves) here’s a re-cap of the highlights of day one!

One. Blue & White Floral Print Gown by Douglas Hannant

I think this gown literally took my breath away.  If you’re a little stunned about the print, just relax..breathe and enjoy the artistry of it.  It has an incredible shape and the gazar jacquard fabric moves effortlessly.  This luxury gown retails for over $15,000, although, it wasn’t the price point that earned its place in my heart.

Two.  Pearl Inspiration from Theia

Designer Don O’Neill was particularly inspired this season by all things pearl.  He worked with beads and luminous fabrics to capture pearlescent light taking form as a bridal collection.   Here are two of our top picks from the collection:

Three.  A Fun & Flirty Frock from David’s Bridal

How sweet is this flirty, sequence-fabric frock from David’s?  I’m picturing it on the beach, glistening in the sun.

Four. Bridesmaid Brights from Alfred Angelo

Picture the vibrance of  the sunset, featured on the Alfred Angelo runway.  We were thrilled to see these bridesmaid brights. Especially that orange…. mmmm starting to dream of color palettes…

Five. Show-Stopping Silhouettes from Dennis Basso

I just can’t get enough of these glamorous, drop waisted gowns.  Dennis Basso’s Kleinfeld-exclusive collection is a must-see for brides looking for a stunning silhouette.
