Krisztina + Adam: Orange and Blue Shabby Chic Rustic Ranch Wedding by Claire Pacelli Photography

Krisztina and Adam were married at Skyline Ranch in Groveland, Fla. on May 26. The bride wore a strapless gown with ruching and embellishment, and wore her hair in a curly side-swept ponytail adorned with orange and white flowers. The groom wore gray dress pants and a matching vest, ditching the jacket for a more casual look. Guests were greeted at the ceremony by a rustic welcome table, as well as a vintage gift table featuring a suitcase and decorative bunting. Instead of a traditional guest book, the couple asked guests to leave their fingerprint on a drawing of a tree. The path to the ceremony had wooden signs with quotes painted on them. The programs were kept in embroidered burlap covers, which were made by the bride and her sister. “The inspiration behind the wedding was a molding of Adam’s and my unique personalities,” Krisztina explained. “I had recently became interested in antiques. I loved finding old items and refurbishing them into something new. This carried over to my ideas for planning the wedding. While on the other hand my husband loves the forest/woods.” After tying the knot in front of 160 family members and friends, guests made their way to the reception. Games such as corn hole and checkers were available to play. Guests were escorted to their tables by plantable seed keys that the bride and maid-of-honor crafted themselves. The tables were decorated with burlap runners and floral glass jar centerpieces atop wood slices.  Krisztina and Adam’s wedding was a family project of sorts. “There was not a single item present that a family member did not help create,” Krisztina said. “It makes it more special that the whole family helped create the special day rather than buying all the decorations, clothes, etc.” The couple also offered a candy buffet to those looking to satisfy their sweet tooth. The bride and groom left their reception in the most romantic way, under a line of sparklers! Krisztina’s tip for couples planning their wedding? “Mold the wedding to create a way to show your guests that this day is about two unique people joining to become one.” What a great approach! Heather + Joey: Turquoise & Orange Springtime Pennsylvania Wedding by Kristen Wynn Photography
Posted by Sarah Title. Filed under Real Weddings

Photo: Kristen Wynn Photography; Venue: The Atrium; Bride’s Gown: Demetrios from Macy’s; Shoes: Pour La Victoire; Groom’s Attire: Calvin Klein from Men’s Wearhouse; Bridesmaid Dresses: Jim Hjelm from Bridal Beginning; Hair: Chele Opitz of Amy’s Hair Styling; Floral Design by T&J Floral; Invitations: MagnetStreet; Ceremony Music: Red Hot Chameleon Entertainment;  Catering: Fairground Market; Popcorn: Pittsburgh Popcorn Company; Cake: Autumn’s Cakes; Bride’s Veil: Frills Ltd.; Makeup: Megan Yudin; Officiant: John Antoline

Heather and Joey were married at The Atrium in Prospect, PA on May 24. “The Atrium was the perfect fit,” Heather said. “It was bright white, which we knew would make our colors pop, and the all glass atrium that was part of the building really brought in the outdoor feel.” The bride donned a strapless mermaid gown with a ruffled skirt and colored snakeskin peep toe pumps. She opted for a curly up-do and carried a bouquet with baby’s breath, garden and spray roses, carnations, and pin cushion proteas. The groom and his men looked dashing in gray three-piece suits. The groom wore an orange vest and necktie, while his men were outfitted in white. The bridesmaids stood out in bright turquoise one-shoulder floor-length chiffon gowns. “We built everything around our favorite colors – blue and orange,” Heather said. “The blue evolved into turquoise when we decided to go for a ‘tropical’ feel but without the sand and shells. We LOVE the Caribbean, so it was only fitting to incorporate that color scheme into our day.” After the reception, guests dined in an all-glass Atrium, allowing a lot of natural light to flow in. They outfitted the gazebo with blue and orange paper decor and had a photo booth with props for guests to document their night. Guests enjoyed a three-tiered cake decorated with blue and orange flowers, and munched on popcorn as well! The most special part of the big day? “My grandma wasn’t able to attend due to her health, so we actually FaceTimed the wedding so she could be a part of the big day,” Heather said. ” It was a great moment, and we’re so blessed that technology allowed her to be there.” How adorable? Antonieta and Shawn were married at Mount Hope Farm in Bristol, Rhode Island on October 19. “”We wanted our wedding to reflect us as a couple with some urban influences, some country influences, some southern influences, some international influences and some New England influences,” Antonieta said. “We both have roots in North Carolina, I grew up in Ecuador and we have both traveled extensively.” The bride wore a sweetheart chiffon wedding gown with a ruffled skirt, accessorized with a jeweled sash, while the groom wore a three-piece black suit, accessorized with a bow tie. “My dress was by Lindee Daniel, who is a designer from Los Angeles, that works with natural materials that are sustainably produced and responsibly sourced,” she said. “She gives back part of her profits to youth-at-risk in her area.” Bridesmaids wore long brown halter chiffon dresses and carried bouquets of calla lilies, roses, and berries. Guests were greeted with a basket of shawls to keep warm during the outdoor ceremony. The couple wed before 100 with a hand fast. “It feels very rewarding to make the event your own,” Antonieta said. “Even though it is a lot of work to plan out details, I can´t imagine have done it any other way.” The signature drink? Hot apple cider, of course! Escort cards were shaped like luggage tags and directed them to tables named after cities. Reception tables inside the barn were decorated with red, orange, and yellow napkins, lanterns atop wood slices, and “hot” honey favor jars at each place setting. “Since nearly every guest came in from out of town, we wanted to extend the festivities and have plenty of opportunities to spend time with friends and family,” she said. “We had a relaxed after party at The Dorrance, in downtown Providence, and we went apple picking the next day. We then left for our honeymoon in Bora Bora.” See the full board here.

Kristen + Ken: A Preppy Patriotic-Themed Seaside Fall New Jersey Hotel Wedding By 217 Photography

Kristen and Ken were married at Congress Hall in Cape May, N.J. on October 12. Since the couple currently resides in New York City, they decided to have a mini-destination wedding at one of the nation’s best beach towns! The bride wore a sweetheart satin mermaid wedding gown, accessorized with her hair in a classic updo and comb, while the groom wore a dark gray suit, accessorized with a patterned tie. Bridesmaids wore short navy blue dresses and carried bouquets of white dahlias, red roses, and purple thistles. Don’t you just love their J.Crew bow pumps? Since the handfasting ceremony was to take place on the historic hotel’s front porch, guests were greeted with a chalkboard sign that said, “Snuggle Up” and asked to grab shawls to keep warm. After the newlyweds were announced husband and wife, the celebration began. Keeping with the seaside theme, escort cards were held in place with tiny pieces of coral, but reception tables were decorated with silver charger plates, napkins wrapped in striped ribbon, and lantern centerpieces that lit up the ballroom. Of course, the night ended with a picture picture moment of the four-tiered cake being cut. See the full board here.
