Tyler and Jonathan were married at Camp Highlander in Mills River, N.C. on August 16. Tyler looked radiant in a silk chiffon gown with three-quarter length illusion lace sleeves and a blusher veil. She carried a bright bouquet of sunflowers, orange zinnias, purple snapdragons, dusty miller, and greenery. The groom looked dapper in a light blue pinstripe suit with a navy blue polka dot tie and a rustic boutonniere featuring coneflower, chinese lantern, and hypericum berries. Tyler and Jonathan recreated summer camp for their wedding guests, everyone stayed stayed in cabins on-site and participated in water activities as well as archery. “We were dedicated to making it a relaxed, vacation experience for ourselves and our guests,” Tyler said. “We were very drawn to having one big sleepover, and lodging accommodations on site.” The pair tied the knot in front of 150 guests under a rustic arch made of wooden branches with a stunning view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The ceremony boasted an acoustic guitar player and three very adorable flower girls in white A-line dresses. A reception followed in the wooden open-air gymnasium and guests grabbed drinks from a red re-purposed canoe. For dinner, guests chose from three different buffet stations, as well as a pickle bar. Guests did karaoke and dressed up in costumes provided by the camp theater. A two-tier cake and various cupcakes filled the dessert table for family and friends to enjoy. Tyler has four great pieces of advice for couples on their wedding day. “Relax. Slow down. Be genuine. Stay in the present,” she said. See the full board here.

Heather + Bryant: Outdoor Rustic Summer Vermont Wedding by Antonio Rocha Photography

Heather and Bryant were married at Three Stallion Inn in Randolph, Vt. on June 14. Heather looked gorgeous in a strapless sweetheart asymmetrical mermaid gown accented with a crystal belt. She wore her hair in a curly partial updo, ditched the heels for cowgirl boots, and carried a bright bouquet of delphinium, millet, peonies, asters, gerber daisies, veronica, and hypericum berries. Her ‘maids donned short chiffon halter dresses, while the groom and his men looked dapper in gray three-piece suits complete with navy blue neck ties. The pair tied the knot outside under an arch made of branches, greenery, and white chiffon draping. Guests were greeted to the ceremony by wooden signs hand-painted by the bride’s father. A reception followed at the inn where the 130 guests sipped on lemonade and iced tea and dropped their well-wishes cards into a tin bucket accented with burlap. “Staff, friends, and family put together all of the decorations and the Inn looked more beautiful than I ever could have dreamed,” Heather said. Tables featured wildflowers in mason jars atop wood slices for a country feel. “My family, friends, and I made of the decorations and special touches to the wedding,” Heather explained. “It was lots of work but made the day even more beautiful and special.” Family and friends enjoyed dinner and dancing, followed by a four tier cake adorned with colorful flowers. Upon their departure, guests received maple syrup favors, a Vermont favorite. Heather encourages couples to keep their cool during wedding planning. “Stay calm and don’t stress,” she said. “The day will come together and it will be the best day of your life.” See the full board here.

Cherie and Steven were married at Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasville, Ga. on October 26. The bride stunned in a strapless gown accented with silver beading. She wore her hair in a chignon bun and carried a bouquet of blush and ivory roses decorated with crystals. Her ‘maids donned flowy strapless gray dresses and carried bouquets of ivory roses, lamb’s ear, and silver fern. The groom opted for a black and silver three-piece suit, while his men wore gray three-piece suits that matched the bridesmaids dresses.  The bride arrived to the ceremony with her father on a horse-drawn carriage. The pair exchanged vows on the lawn of the plantation in front of a green and white floral arch. Guests were seated in white folding chairs that were marked with white hydrangeas, seeded eucalyptus, and silver fern. After the knot was tied, the newlyweds took a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride around the plantation. A reception followed outside under an array of oak trees decorated with twinkling lights. Guests were escorted to round tables boasting white linens with a silver swirly pattern and white branch centerpieces. The bride and groom had their first dance on the black-and-white checkered dance floor, and cut a classic white tiered cake. Guests also indulged in truffles, cupcakes, and tarts. They were given small silver bags to fill up with pecans as a favor. At the end of the night, everyone participated in a Latin tradition called “The Crazy Hour,” in which the bride and groom encouraged their guests to dance with them in crazy costumes. Lori & Matt: Romantic Blush Summer Inn Wedding in Vermont by Hannah Weddings

Lori and Matt were married at the Woodstock Inn in Woodstock, Vt. on July 11. Lori looked breathtaking in a chiffon A-line gown with lace cap sleeves and a satin sash. She wore her hair in an updo and donned a short veil. Her ‘maids stunned in short chiffon dresses in various shades of blush and ivory. They carried bouquets of baby’s breath and floral clutches with cloth flowers, while Lori carried a romantic bouquet of soft roses. The groom and his men looked dapper in tan three-piece suits and pink ties. The couple officially tied the knot on the lawn of the Woodstock Inn in front of 160 friends and family members sitting in white folding chairs. The aisle was marked with white hydrangeas and spray roses. “We wanted a classy but casual wedding,” Lori said. “We were not overly concerned with details. We wanted the overall feel to be romantic and lovely.” A reception followed inside the inn, where guests sat at elegant round tables featuring floral centerpieces. The pair sat at a sweetheart table decorated with ivory linens and votive candles. After dinner, guests indulged in a three-tier cake adorned with ombre macaroons and a white hydrangea on top. Lori’s advice to engaged couples is simple and to the point, “Enjoy the day, get a wedding planner!” See the full board here.
