Kacie and Daniel were married at Cedar Bend Events in Austin, Tx. on November 23. The bride opted for a more rustic bridal look, donning a chiffon halter gown and soft wavy hair. She carried a bright bouquet of dahlias, peonies, veronica, tulips, and ferns. The groom wore a vested gray suit with a green neck tie. The ceremony took place outside in front of a barnwood backdrop, and guests sat and looked on in white folding chairs featuring wildflower aisle markers. The altar featured a vintage hanging window and picnic table draped in lace. “We knew we wanted to have the ceremony outside in a beautiful setting, and our main priority was keeping things comfortable and having a lot of fun!” Kacie said of the venue. A reception followed where guests signed a guest book located on a table decorated with framed quotes, books, a vintage watering can, and candles. “Our wedding was primarily a way to have a great time with friends and family,” Kacie said of the occasion. Aside from dancing, guests participated in lawn games such as croquet, hula hoops, and sack races. Tables were covered in gold chevron linens and centerpieces of roses, stock, veronica, and baby’s breath arranged in glass jars and displayed atop tree slices. “We always referred to our wedding, as the ‘Big Day,’ allowing us to focus on the celebration,” Kacie said. Guests enjoyed dinner and indulged in a variety of desserts including a naked cake, lemon rosemary shortbread cookies, and brownie bites! Kacie’s best advice? “Put great thought into your guest list, so that you can spend time with every loved one on your big day.” See the full board here.

Caroline + Sanket: Colorful Multicultural Park Wedding in New York by Camera Famosa Photography

Caroline and Sanket were married at Congress Park in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. followed by a reception at Canfield Casino on June 29. The couple had two ceremonies at the park, the first one being a traditional Indian ceremony. The bride looked radiant in a mint, pink, and gold lehenga and donned classic curls for the affair. The groom looked dapper in a white sherwani featuring red, gold, and mint embroidery. The groom and his family danced underneath a red umbrella as part of his entrance to the ceremony. They were married under a big structure featuring mint and hot pink draping and stunning floral arrangements. The bride and groom sat in red velvet chairs surrounded by their family in gold chiavari chairs. “Despite the heat, I really enjoyed the Indian ceremony,” Caroline said. “It is hard to appreciate all the details of the ceremony — the colors, smells, sounds– unless you’re right there in it.” A traditional American ceremony followed, and the bride changed into an A-line gown featuring a beaded sweetheart bodice and a tulle skirt. She wore her hair in a delicate updo and carried pink peonies, garden roses, and succulents. Her ‘maids rocked long pink chiffon gowns with various necklines. After the second ceremony concluded, everyone moved to the Canfield Casino for the reception. The venue featured high ceilings and stained glass windows. The tables were decorated with bejeweled votive candles, mint and gold table numbers, and light pink compote vases filled with roses, peonies, and hydrangeas. The escort cards had a pink, blue, and gold pattern on them that was reminiscent of their invitation style. Guests ate and danced the night away, and indulged in a one-tier buttercream cake with a gold lasercut topper and adorned with flower petals. “Be unique and personalize your event to you and your partner– don’t compare your wedding to friends’ weddings or Pinterest,” Caroline said. Sara and Lisa were married at The Rigmor House in Chapel Hill, N.C. on September 20. Lisa opted for a strapless A-line gown which featured ruching and a pale green sash. Sara donned a strapless fit ‘n’ flare gown with crystal beading details. Both ladies wore updos and carried white bouquets. One bride’s bouquet was filled with white chrysanthemums and hydrangeas, while the other carried white gerbera daisies. Their wedding party looked fabulous in mix-and-match pale green and mint chiffon dresses, as well as khaki suits with mint button-downs. The ceremony took place outside and featured chalkboard signage, as well as floral mason jar aisle markers adorned with burlap. After the heartfelt vows were exchanged, the wedding party brought out beer and champagne to celebrate! Lawn games such as Jenga and cornhole were available for guest entertainment. The tables were decorated with rustic touches such as burlap linens, and mix-and-match bottle and bud vases carrying white flowers. Following dinner and dancing, guests indulged in a two-tier white cake which sat atop a wood slice and boasted real flowers. The favors the guests received were placed in small jam jars and tied together with a satin ribbon and heart-shaped tag. See the full board here.

Andrea and Gregory were married at Elkins Resort on Priest Lake in Priest Lake, Idaho on March 1. The bride stunned in an all-lace dress featuring illusion lace long sleeves. Her hair was donned in a side updo and she accessorized with a birdcage veil. She carried a white and green bouquet of hydrangeas, calla lilies, ranunculuses, and seeded eucalyptus. Her ‘maids bundled up in navy blue coats, sage scarves, and warm boots. The groomsmen looked dapper in navy three-piece tweed suits, complete with checkered button downs, and gray bow ties. The couple knew right away that  this was the perfect location for them, since that’s where they got engaged. “We were inspired by the natural beauty, cozy winter getaway…and magic of a snowy winter wedding,” Andrea said of their wedding inspiration. The ceremony took place outside (in single digit temperatures) and featured pine cone aisle markers, and the littlest attendant riding on a sled down the aisle! A friend officiated the wedding and wrote a personal ceremony. “Our guests were incredibly gracious in tolerating our request to be married outside,” Andrea said. “Everyone bundled up, huddled around patio heaters, and warmed up with hand warmers, blankets, and hot chocolate.” An indoor reception followed, where guests ate, drank, and danced all night! “Looking around at all the friends and family willing to travel the snowy roads and stand outside with us while we got married, it hit both of us just how much love surrounded us,” Andrea recalled.
