Marta and Jaume were married at Can Riera de la Pineda in Arbucies, Spain on June 15. “The day was perfect; a sunny, summer day,” Marta said. ”We were inspired  by the campsite, and it’s vintage decor.” The bride wore a flowing v-neck wedding gown with lace detailing from Spanish designer Jordi Anguera, accessorized with a sideswept bun with a silver chain headband. Her bouquet featured white and purple blooms set amongst a surplus of greenery. The groom donned a classic black suit along with a striped tie. Following the ceremony, 150 guests enjoyed an outdoor lounge area next to a pavilion. They were served fresh vegetables, bread, and other passed hors d’oeuvres before they were escorted to their seats at round tables with fragrant herb centerpieces. When night fell, the venue was lit up with candles and trees wrapped in cafe lights to create a fairytale feel. The newlywed’s best advice? “They have to enjoy every moment,” Marta said. Joanne + Gerhard: A Romantic Blush and Champagne South African Outdoor Wedding by Louise Vorster Photography

Joanne and Gerhard were married outside at Toadbury Hall in Johannesburg, South Africa on October 25. “I really love nature and my dream has always been to get married under a big tree with a lot of peonies,” Joanne said. “Our whole wedding was thus structured around the availability of peonies in South Africa, which is only a scarce two weeks of the year.” The bride wore a v-neck floor-length chiffon wedding gown with lace detailing and thin straps. She accessorized with a topaz necklace and a floral hair wreath sat atop her casually curled down hairstyle.  Her bridesmaids donned light blue dresses in various styles and also accessorized with floral wreaths too. The groom wore a casual navy blue suit with a black neck tie while his ‘men wore navy blue pants, white button-down shirts and suspenders. Following the ceremony, guests sat at long reception tables with candles and peony centerpieces. The couple opted for a cheese cake instead of a traditionally sweet one, which their guests enjoyed while the wedding party took photos. “My wedding was absolutely a fairy tale, it was everything I dreamt it would be and so much more,” she said. “Best thing is that I get to keep the groom.” See the full board here.

Liz and Nick were married at The Wildflower Barn in Driftwood, Texas last spring. The proposal story? “Since Nick is Italian, he surprised me with a two-week tour of Italy and proposed on the roof of a villa in the tiny town of Cortona in Tuscany,” Liz said. “He had visited the town a year before with a friend and knew he had to bring me back so he could propose there.” Oh-so romantic! It rained for much of the day leading up to the ceremony, but the skies cleared just before the bride walked down the aisle wearing a sweetheart satin fit ‘n’ flare wedding gown, accessorized with an ivory sash, while her groom, waited for her arrival at the altar, wearing a khaki suit, accessorized with a striped tie. They both were overcome with such emotion seeing each other for the first time! Guests, approximately 120, sat in wooden church pews and watched as the couple performed a sand unity with mason jars. The outdoor reception followed with tables decorated in burlap cloths, lace runners and centerpieces atop rustic tree stumps. “We wanted everything to be as low key and as easy going as possible,” Liz said. In lieu of a traditional guest book, wine bottles were signed with well wishes to be read on the newlyweds’ anniversaries. See the full board here.

Annalisa + Ian: A Vintage-Rustic Fall Virginia Inn Wedding By April B. Photography

Annalisa and Ian knew that Acorn Inn would be the perfect place for their wedding. “It was on an open field with a gorgeous view of the Blue Ridge Mountains,” she said. “We wanted to share this space that we love so much with the people we love so much. Our approach to our wedding was to make it as personal and meaningful as possible.” The bride wore a capped-sleeve Maggie Sottero wedding gown and brooch bouquet whereas her groom paid homage to his Scottish traditions by wearing a tartan kilt. Bridesmaids wore an array of blush dresses and shawls or cardigans to keep warm. Flower girls wore ballerina leotards, tutus, and floral wreaths while waving ribbon wands down the aisle.  ”My cousins and I spent months leading up to the wedding collecting pieces of vintage china, candlesticks, vases, and props,” Annalisa said. Folding chairs were decorated with burlap, centerpieces filled mason jars atop books and tree bark, and place cards were attached to thistle. See the full board here.
