When Wendy and Keith went about planning their early spring wedding, they wanted an intimate feel, with a delicate blend of elegance and romance.  On the grounds of a scenic plantation an hour outside of Atlanta,  the couple wed surrounded by a small group of sixty loved ones.  The inspiration all started with the dress, a black-sashed Judd Waddell beauty that Wendy’s mom spotted at Bridals by Lori.  At first Wendy was put off by the dramatic sash, but after trying it on, it made the dress and she knew it was the one!  A palette of soft pinks, ivories and contrasts of black-centered poppies unfolded from there.  Enjoy reveling in this story of Southern romance, told in rich, beautiful photos by Nadia D. The couple met thru eHarmony!  After a few phone conversations and a first date over sushi, they knew it was a lasting romance.  Keith proposed over a private dinner inside the ruins at Barnsley Gardens Resort, so hosting the wedding at the incredible venue was a natural choice.  The resort was also well suited for bringing their two goldens along for the day (how cute is that floral collar and embellished leash)?!   After a close and heartwarming ceremony that included Keith’s son as the best man and Wendy’s best friend from college as the matron of honor, rainclouds rolled into the Adairsville, Georgia skies.  A romantic refuge filled with textured, feminine florals awaited.
