Show your guests that love is in the air with this thrifty and easy-to-recreate table number concept. Not to mention, the pop of color from the pomegranates will add a dose of fresh-picked vibrance.
You will need patterned paper scraps • foam core • bamboo skewers • pomegranates • a paint pen • scissors • craft glue
Step One • Fold a thick piece of paper in half and draw one side of a heart at the fold. Cut the folded piece of paper, tracing the line you made. Unfold. Now, you have your stencil.
Step Two • Using your stencil, trace a heart onto a piece of foam core and cut out the heart shape from the foam core sheet.
Step Three • Next, use your heart stencil to trace and cut out two hearts from the decorative paper.
Step Four • Glue your decorative paper hearts to the front and back of your heart-shaped foam core piece.
Step Five • Then, using a paint pen, draw the corresponding table number onto the front of the heart. Puncture the foam core with a bamboo skewer to create a long ‘lollipop’ of sorts.
Step Six • Stick the other end of the bamboo skewer into a pomegranate and you have an affordable table number concept that will get guests talking!
* Artsy-Chic Brooklyn Engagement by Amber Gress Photography {Part 1}

We pride ourselves in being avid admirers of the exceptionally creative. So when we spotted Colin and Masha’s colorful, cocktail-making engagement session- set in an intimate backyard garden in Brooklyn, naturally- we jumped at the opportunity to share. A supremely talented watercolor illustrator, Masha created the save the dates that inspired the shoot. The playful nature of the pair comes through in her lush painting style and in the uniquely charming details of the session. Did we mention how incredibly beautiful they both are? They’re radiating some gorgeous inner love light, big time. Get ready to swoon over these photographs styled by Jenna Cantagallo and captured by Amber Gress!
Model/actor Colin served his bride-to-be a refreshing “love potion” cocktail (St. Germain, gin, tonic water, pomegranate seeds, and a mint garnish) in vintage wine glasses hand-dipped in gold by Jenna. Sarah Dorkin whipped up darling heart shaped cookies to satisfy the couple’s sweet tooth, and Kelly of 2h Flowers peppered their vintage chic tablescape with aster and gomphrena blooms. A self-professed style maven, Masha complimented her ravishing red, flamenco-style frock with gilded flower bobby pins and her stunning cluster engagement ring.
