Envision an outdoor SoCal wedding… a purple and blue palette… a rustic and whimsical garden theme… and top it off with a dessert table by Sweet & Saucy! Cory and Kyle’s day was wildly festive, held over the Fourth of July weekend. We’re totally honored to have their wedding as the Real Wedding of the Week! (Special thanks to Hello Studios and Lindye Galloway Events for sharing their work with us).

* Romantic Sonoma Real Wedding

I thought Kristie and Matt’s wedding was such perfect inspiration for the bride who wants an ultra-feminine color palette with understated, elegant style. The gorgeous couple met at a coffeehouse six years prior to marrying in a romantic wedding at a California vineyard. See the full photo spread and story in our Real Wedding gallery this week!

I’ve got something really fun and whimsical by Love Bucket Photo for your Friday-before-Memorial-Day! Anna and Jeremy tied the knot at the stunning Lobo Castle in Agoura Hills, CA… The day was full of so many cute and crafty things made by the super-creative bride. Anna and Jeremy tell us about their inspirations, the beautiful intimacy of the day, and give some special (and unique) advice for brides and grooms down below ♥

From the Bride and Groom:
“Inspiration: We really love nature and the outdoors, so we wanted to incorporate that in as many ways as we could. We used lots of moss, trees, and little birds. I took a lot of inspiration from wedding blogs and used things other people did, but adapted them to fit our color theme. I am also a really crafty person, so wanted to make as much as I could, which ended up being all of the decorations… I wanted the opportunity to get better at things like sewing, so I sewed a lot! In the end, the inspiration was ourselves! We wanted the wedding to really represent us.
Memories: (Anna) After the ceremony Jeremy and I went up to the “bridal suite” and just took a few minutes together. We cried together about being married and how happy we were. It was nice to take that time away right after.
(Jeremy) One of my favorite memories was sitting by myself after getting dressed and making a short video for my wife-to-be on my iPhone about how much I loved her and how I couldn’t wait to be her husband for the rest of my life. I sent it to her just before I walked down the aisle.
Advice: Make sure your dress is comfortable. Also, make sure you enjoy yourself and focus on the marriage. Since we put so much work into it, I was more concerned about everyone else having a good time, and it was hard for me to really relax until it was all over. Oh, also, you should LOVE your vendors. They are so involved in your day that you want them to feel invested in the wedding, and really a part of it.”

* Real Wedding: Angela + Geoff
Posted on January 31st, 2011 by Kate. Filed under Real Weddings.
The Real Wedding this week is so feminine and pretty. Meg Perotti did a most perfect job capturing Angela and Geoff’s sunny garden party wedding. The couple wed at Vine Hill Winery and incorporated elements of Chinese tradition, like a tea ceremony to honor their parents. See more of the details and full story in the Real Wedding gallery.
* Steve + Sheila’s Vibrant Vineyard Real Wedding

Chloe Murdoch, one of the talented photographers at Mike Larson Inc., photographed Steve and Sheila’s vibrant vineyard wedding this past fall…
The bride has exquisite taste… the venue was perfectly scenic… and the floral color palette is one of my favorite.. Enjoy the pics!
