Phyllis and Tony were married at Paiko Estate in Hawaii Kai, Hi. on April 9. The bride stunned in a strapless fitted dress and wore her hair in an intricate updo adorned with a pink flower. She carried a colorful bouquet of pink peonies, succulents, dusty miller, and viburnum. Her maids wore blue patterned maxi dresses and carried colored roses, white ranunculus, light pink lisianthus, dahlias, succulents, and dusty miller. The groom and his men opted for casual suits and wore leis around their necks. The couple was married beside the ocean, while their intimate group of 30 guests looked on. The weather was ideal, according to Phyllis. “Not too hot, not cold. Clear blue perfect Hawaiian day.” At the reception, guests dined at tables with chevron linens and their chairs were decorated with seeded eucalyptus. The couple hoped to make the wedding as care-free as possible. “We are both foodies and wanted the food to be the focus along with the unbelievable Hawaiian scenery,” Phyllis said. “We wanted to have little fussiness and make it informal and comfortable.” After dinner, the guests indulged in cakes with fun flavors such as cookie & cream with red velvet and guava filling with yellow cake. Guests took home personalized matchboxes as a momento from the day. The bride’s best advice? “Be patient, open to ideas, trust your gut and really prioritize what is most important to you and your mate,” Phyllis advised. See the full board here.

Erica and Adam were married at Secret Island Beach at Kualoa Ranch in Kaneohe, Hawaii on July 6. We wanted our loved ones to see the Hawaii we call home, and to be able to celebrate our wedding as a holiday,” Erica said. “Our approach was to host a party–we wanted fun, relaxing, and memorable.” The bride wore a sweetheart tulle a-line wedding gown with floral appliques, while the groom wore a tan, accessorized with flip flops. Bridesmaids wore short coral to tangerine chiffon dresses in various necklines and carried bouquets of roses, orchids, pincushion proteas, and seed eucalyptuses. “We also wanted to see everyone as lit up with love and happiness as we are, so our theme was ‘lit up,'” she said. The couple wed before 75 guests along an ancient fishpond. “Everything was just perfect, perfect weather,” Erica said. “Rain was predicted and it did rain–right at 10pm when we needed to leave the venue!” Tables were decorated with white linens, centerpieces atop wooden slabs, wine bottle numbers, and an “I Spy” game. In lieu of a traditional cake, a dessert display was filled with lots and lots of candies. Notice the custom containers? The newlyweds performed their first dance underneath string lights to “Be Here Now” by Mason Jennings, and at the end of the night posed beside the word “love” written with sparklers. How cool! Janet and Ricardo were married at Loulu Palm Estate in Oahu, H.I. on May 2. “Hawaii is like our second home,” Janet said. “We had been going there once a year for last few years and were in love with the food, people, weather, and lifestyle. We wanted our family and friends to experience and hopefully fall in love with Hawaii the way we did.” The ceremony was held on the venue’s lawn with the ocean as their scenic backdrop. “My dad did not get to see the dress prior to this day,” she said. “I wanted it to be a surprise not only for Ricardo, but for my dad as well. As soon as he saw me, the tears started rolling not only from him, but from me too.  It was a moment I will never forget.” The color scheme for the reception? Pink and orange! Guests sat in a clear-top tent surrounded by decorative branches and tropical orange orchid centerpieces. “We really wanted to make sure we had awesome food,” Janet said. “Everything from a whole pig, poketinis, summer rolls, mini moco locos, surf and turf, and mochi ice cream while we danced to cool us off!” By the end of the night, a romantic glow of twinkling cafe lights were lit, and a three-tiered cascading floral cake was cut.
