Shana and Ben were married at El Capitan Canyon in Goleta, Calif. on April 12. Shana looked stunning in a strapless lace gown with her hair down and curled. She donned an herb and flower crown and a fingertip veil. She carried a bouquet of burgundy dahlias and peonies, red roses, dark pink cascading amaranthus, white anemones, succulents, and greenery. The groom looked handsome in a charcoal gray suit and a pale green neck tie. He also accessorized with a boutonniere of succulent, waxflower, dahlia, and scabiosa pods. The couple tied the knot overlooking the Pacific Ocean. They were married by a close friend under a wooden chuppah adorned with greenery and they exchanged handwritten vows. “We wanted a wedding venue that would reflect our love for California terrain,” Shana explained. “Getting married over the Pacific Ocean was a shared dream for us.” The 100 guests tossed flower petals at the newly married couple as they recessed down the aisle. Guests enjoyed beer and wine at the reception, which was denoted on a painted chalkboard. Family and friends looked to a window seating chart to find their seats. They sat at long wooden tables with burlap runners and floral centerpeices. “The flow of the whole day was intentional but lighthearted, joyful, and celebratory,” Shana said. Guests received candles as a favor. After dinner a dance party followed as well as a late-night fire for everyone to enjoy. Shana recommends that brides stick to what they want during wedding planning. “Let your wedding be a reflection of you and your fiance and try to stay true to your vision. You can’t make everyone happy!” See the full board here.

Kristen and Ken were married at Congress Hall in Cape May, N.J. on October 12. Since the couple currently resides in New York City, they decided to have a mini-destination wedding at one of the nation’s best beach towns! The bride wore a sweetheart satin mermaid wedding gown, accessorized with her hair in a classic updo and comb, while the groom wore a dark gray suit, accessorized with a patterned tie. Bridesmaids wore short navy blue dresses and carried bouquets of white dahlias, red roses, and purple thistles. Don’t you just love their J.Crew bow pumps? Since the handfasting ceremony was to take place on the historic hotel’s front porch, guests were greeted with a chalkboard sign that said, “Snuggle Up” and asked to grab shawls to keep warm. After the newlyweds were announced husband and wife, the celebration began. Keeping with the seaside theme, escort cards were held in place with tiny pieces of coral, but reception tables were decorated with silver charger plates, napkins wrapped in striped ribbon, and lantern centerpieces that lit up the ballroom. Of course, the night ended with a picture picture moment of the four-tiered cake being cut. See the full board here.

Lauren and Daniel’s seaside wedding along the shores of Port Phillip Bay was held at St. Leonards Yacht Club in Australia. The bridesmaids wore preppy navy blue strapless dresses, groomsmen wore navy blue bow ties and ringer bearers looked dapper in their converse tennis shoes. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed canapés and Pimm’s Cup cocktails with striped straws while the new Mr. and Mrs. dipped away by the bay to share a romantic moment to themselves. The reception space was hung with bunting, and tables were filled with white blooms and burlap runners. At the end of the night, the couple exited in a 1968 blue Chevrolet Camaro as guests took pictures from their Polaroid cameras. See the full board here.
