Fashion Friday: Sareh Nouri Spring 2013
Posted by Kate. Filed under Wedding Dress

We’ve just published the new Sareh Nouri collection over here, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t share this incredible photoshoot of sheer femininity, and utter bridal indulgence by Emme Wynn. Be prepared to be swept away by the romance of Sareh’s gowns (including some of the dreamiest ball gowns I’ve ever seen) and the lightness and beauty of Emme’s work. I could gaze for days….

Fashion Friday: Moroccan Romance
Posted by Kate. Filed under Wedding Dress

Happy Labor Day weekend… Hope you have something sweet, relaxing, and romantic in store.  A little getaway, perhaps?  Speaking of getaways,  UK-based couture designer, Stephanie Allin, just photographed her 2013 collection in romantic, exotic Morocco… And we’ve got the photos! The exquisite gowns, the remarkable architecture… they’ve left me awe-inspired and yearning for some foreign travel… Enjoy this dose of bridal romance before you head off into the weekend!

One for the ceremony, and another for the reception, please. Dreeeeaaammmmy.

Fashion Friday: Sheathy and Chic
Posted by Kate. Filed under Wedding Dress

The classic sheath silhouette made a comeback on the Spring 2013 runways.  A great sheath dress reminds me of refined elegance, maturity, and sophistication…  Traditional sheaths fit close around the hips and taper toward the hemline, creating a very tailored look.  However, a bit of room and flow at the hem is more figure- flattering for a bride with some curves.

Are you thinking of a sheath?  One of these just might fit your fancy!

no. 1 Carolina Herrera no.2 Oscar de la Renta no. 3 Monique Lhuillier

no. 4 Elizabeth Fillmore no. 5 Rafael Cennamo no. 6 Amsale

no. 7 Monique Lhuillier no. 8 Theia no. 9 Romona Keveza

no. 10 Temperley London no. 11 Mark Zunino no. 12 Marchesa

no. 13 Theia no. 14 Elizabeth Fillmore no. 15 Sarah Janks

no. 16 Amsale no. 17 Romona Keveza no. 18 Christos

What’s your take?  Are you a sheath kind of gal?

Wishing you a lovely little weekend…

xoxo
