* Trendy Desert Wedding by Gideon Photography

Posted on May 21st, 2012 by Kate. Filed under Real Weddings.

Lacey and Easton are a hip and stylin’ pair and their spring wedding in St. George, Utah, was a total reflection of them.  The day was filled to the brim with vibrant color and modern details like succulents, custom typography, a personalized monogram, and more.  We couldn’t be more happy to share their fabulous, trendy album by Gideon Photography! We really can’t get over the brilliant florals by Bloomers.  They set the tone for a truly vibrant day in the desert.  The wedding party was dressed in soft neutrals, which complemented the wow floral palette, red earthen desert, and incredible blue sky. The amazing design work of Kortney Eggertz could be found throughout the day… in the signage, wedding programs, menus, place settings and favors!  All of the paper goods showcased the custom typography and monogram that she created especially for Lacey and Easton.   Meanwhile, Forevermore Events ensured that everything was in its perfect place and the day went off without a hitch.

Perhaps one of our favorite parts of this modern wedding?  The cake- an amazing creation by Blanca’s Designer Cakes!  We’re in love with the gorgeous ripples on each tier and the ruffly sugar flower accent.

Don’t miss the rest of Lacey and Easton’s color-filled day in our real wedding gallery!

* Feather Friday: Conni + Clint

Posted on October 14th, 2011 by Kate. Filed under Real Weddings.

There is SO much to love about this wedding.

1. Conni + Clint are two stylish and cool peeps.  Made for each other, you could say? 2. the WOW color palette3. Rad photography by Anjuli.4. Super trendy styling (including our fave- feathers) Come on… that archway?!? awesome.Every aspect of the day was infused with creativity… the day not only embodied their love, but the things they love. The San Diego Children’s Museum was the perfect space for a day of whimsical artistry.Bright orange curtains made for an eyecatching backdrop… while patterned table runners fashioned a trendy, eclectic vibe. Chalboard love. Guests even had an opportunity to find their inner artist, by creating something for the newlyweds! The evening was topped off with a plentiful dessert bar embellished with peacock feathers.
