Heather + Joey: Turquoise & Orange Springtime Pennsylvania Wedding by Kristen Wynn Photography

Heather and Joey were married at The Atrium in Prospect, PA on May 24. “The Atrium was the perfect fit,” Heather said. “It was bright white, which we knew would make our colors pop, and the all glass atrium that was part of the building really brought in the outdoor feel.” The bride donned a strapless mermaid gown with a ruffled skirt and colored snakeskin peep toe pumps. She opted for a curly up-do and carried a bouquet with baby’s breath, garden and spray roses, carnations, and pin cushion proteas. The groom and his men looked dashing in gray three-piece suits. The groom wore an orange vest and necktie, while his men were outfitted in white. The bridesmaids stood out in bright turquoise one-shoulder floor-length chiffon gowns. “We built everything around our favorite colors – blue and orange,” Heather said. “The blue evolved into turquoise when we decided to go for a ‘tropical’ feel but without the sand and shells. We LOVE the Caribbean, so it was only fitting to incorporate that color scheme into our day.” After the reception, guests dined in an all-glass Atrium, allowing a lot of natural light to flow in. They outfitted the gazebo with blue and orange paper decor and had a photo booth with props for guests to document their night. Guests enjoyed a three-tiered cake decorated with blue and orange flowers, and munched on popcorn as well! The most special part of the big day? “My grandma wasn’t able to attend due to her health, so we actually FaceTimed the wedding so she could be a part of the big day,” Heather said. ” It was a great moment, and we’re so blessed that technology allowed her to be there.” How adorable? Elizabeth and Timmy were married at Historic Malbis Plantation in Daphne, Ala. on November 30. ”As a wedding photographer for the past three years, I wanted something unique and different, something I had never seen before in person,” Elizabeth said. “I had a little help from Pinterest and Etsy, and it took many hours slaving over DIY projects and many sleepless nights getting it all done, but I could have not asked for a better wedding once I saw everything together.” The bride wore a ruffled one-shoulder satin a-line wedding gown, accessorized with a sideswept braided updo and chunky, chandelier earrings, while the groom wore a dark gray vest and pants, accessorized with solid ties and Converse tennis shoes. She carried a bouquet of Before the ceremony, the couple exchanged love letters and gifts. Elizabeth wrote on a brown paper bag, “Timmy, I have loved you for 824 days but today will be the best day ever. Love, your fiance.” ”The weather was perfect,” she said. “I was so nervous it would be way too cold or rainy, and it was 69-70 degrees and sunny.” Fun fact: It took place during the Iron Bowl. “We walked back up the aisle to the Alabama fight song, since Timmy and the groomsmen are huge football fans,” Elizabeth said. Guests were encouraged to update their statuses, tweets, or Instagram photos with the hashtag #goldmanwedding. The signature cocktail? Mountain dew! ”I knew that a wide array of florals would make a gorgeous setup surrounded by mason jars and bottles of different sizes and candles galore,” she said. “It was truly beautiful! I incorporated a ton of cameras I found either on Ebay or local antique stores to showcase my love for photography.” The newlyweds performed their first dance to John Legend’s “All of Me,” and then sat down at a sweetheart table with a fabric streamers backdrop and crystal chandelier from above. The three-tiered buttercream frosted cake was topped with a bunting banner with hearts and in addition, there was groom’s cake featuring Big ‘Al. See the full board here.

Candace and Daunta were married at Gorge Creek Vineyards in Underwood, Wash. on September 7. ”Daunta and I grew up down the road from each other and have dated since middle school, all through high school and also all through college!” Candace said. The bride wore a lace fit ‘n’ flare wedding gown, accessorized with a curly side ponytail, while the groom wore a gray vest and pants, accessorized with a red tie. Bridesmaids wore long turquoise chiffon dresses and carried rose bouquets. As guests arrived, they were handed bottles of water to beat the heat. ”It was touching to see everyone that came to our wedding for us,” she said. “Our high school friends interacting with our college friends as well as our family. Different people from different parts of our life had come together on this one day.” Plus, the views of Mount Hood were unbelievable! The reception followed with dinner and dancing in the tasting room. Can you guess what their first dance was to? ”All My Life” by K-Ci and JoJo – from 8th grade! As a nod to the venue, wine glasses were placed at each place setting and filled with m&m’s as favors. Inside was a note that said, “May our love be like good wine. Growing stronger as it grows older.” In lieu of cake, pies were also served. See the full board here.

Amelia and Bertrand were married in a traditional ceremony at Church La Nativite de la Sainte-Vierge a La Prairie followed by an indoor reception at Espace Rive-Sud in La Prairie, Quebec, Canada on June 15. ”I wanted a DIY wedding inspired by a vintage country theme,” Amelia said. The bride wore an a-line wedding gown with floral appliques, accessorized with “something blue” peep-toe heels, while the groom wore a gray suit, accessorized with a patterned tie. Her one and only bridesmaid wore a coral halter dress, and the bouquet featured hydrangeas and peonies with a mix of succulents. Did you notice that all the stationery is in French, including the invitations, chalkboard signage, and seating chart. ”When we entered the room and saw the result of all our efforts put in place, all the little details, I was just overwhelmed,” she said. “The vision I had in mind was recreated and it was even more amazing in reality!” Tables were decorated with turquoise linens, burlap runners, and touches of lace. ”We also made our table numbers which were frames on which we glued wooden numbers,” Amelia said. Even the favors too, which were caramel spreads. ”I wanted a candy bar and mini cupcakes instead of a classic wedding cake,” she said. The cupcake tower was topped with none other than Lego newlyweds! See the full board here.
