Caitlin + Seth: A Vibrant Vintage Spring Wisconsin Camp Wedding By Stephanie Bassos Photography

Caitlin and Seth were married at Camp Wandawega in Elkhorn, Wis. on May 24. “We wanted to choose a place that we could just be laid back with decorating and everyone could just enjoy being together,” Caitlin said. “We asked our friends David and Tereasa, who own Camp Wandawega if we could get married there, and they said yes! It was such a natural atmosphere for our event.” The bride wore her mother’s lace a-line wedding gown, accessorized with a floor-length veil and jeweled sash, while the groom wore a navy blue suit, accessorized with a pink tie. Fun fact: South Social & Home is actually owned by Caitlin! She designed her own bouquet filled with amaryllis, ranunculuses, roses, coxcombs, and peonies. Before the ceremony, the couple opted to do a first look overlooking the lake. “The weather was perfect, sunny and 75,” she said. The outdoor chapel’s sides were hung with window panels, and the ceiling was hung with crepe paper tassel garlands. Super duper do-it-yourself, right? “Friends helped with decorations and setting up. It was really a group effort with friends and family to get things set up,” Caitlin said. When not dining and dancing inside the tent, guests mingled on the lawn. Tables were decorated with crisp, white linens, candlesticks, and overflowing, gold mercury glass centerpieces. Each place setting featured a vintage plate and tea towels bundled with twine. “Attire was casual dress up. We wanted people to feel comfortable, so the dress code was lax,” she said. The newlyweds performed their first dance to “Love is all Around” by the Troggs, and at the end of the night, cut their two-tiered buttercream cake. There was also yummy Rice Krispie treats and macaroons too. See the full board here.

JoAnn + Jay: A Vibrant Fall North Carolina Loft Wedding By Taken By Sarah Photography

JoAnn and Jay were married at The Balcony on Dock Street in Wilmington, N.C. last fall. The bride wore a sweetheart satin fit ‘n’ flare wedding gown, accessorized with a jeweled sash and fingertip-length veil, while the groom wore a black suit, accessorized with a matching white vest and tie. Don’t you love the bouquet? It features ranunculuses, dahlias, ferns, succulents, and thistle. Bridesmaids wore purple v-neck satin dresses, and the flower girls carried moss baskets. The ceremony and reception space served double-duty, including the decor. Windowsills and tables were decorated with lanterns atop tree stumps, apothocary jars filled with fruit and acorns, and grapevine balls. In lieu of a guest book, guests were asked to leave their fingerprints as “leaves” on a painting of a tree for the newlyweds to display at home. After a long night of dinner and dancing, a SURPRISE fireworks display lit up the sky.  See the full board here.

Madiha + Shiraz: A Vibrant Pakistani Tennessee Ballroom Wedding By Nyk + Cali Wedding Photographers

Madiha and Shiraz’s city wedding in downtown Nashville, Tenn. lasted for two days with over 500 guests! “The weekend of our wedding was the first warm weekend Nashville had,” Madiha said. “The skies were clear and flowers were blooming on trees.” The first night, the Mehndi, was for the bride to showcase her henna, and the second night, the Shaadi, the ceremony and reception took place. Madiha’s uncles walked her out with Shiraz during the processional saying prayers. “Such an emotional moment,” she said. “Lightened only by my sister saying she’s not going to mess up her makeup by crying.” The inspiration behind their wedding came from Shiraz saying, “I love you” with a red rose. Hence, why the ballroom was decorated with red, pink, and gold accents, lanterns adorned tables to create a romantic glow, and a stylish modern lounge for guests to get comfy.
