Her ‘maids donned mix-and-match dresses in jewel tones such as teal, plum, and navy. The groom and his men looked dapper in gray dress pants, blue suspenders, and skinny blue neckties. The couple tied the knot outside on the vineyard property, and guests were directed to their seats with chalkboard signage. The couple sat at a sweetheart table featuring a burlap table runner and monogrammed block letters. “There was an over-spilling of warmth and emotion that every one felt in the presence of these two,” Kiel, their photographer, said. Tim and Jonah were married at Mount Palomar Winery in Temecula, Calif. on November 15. The grooms looked dapper in fitted gray suits and purple striped ties. They also sported boutonnieres made of ruby orchids, white calla lilies, and seeded eucalyptus. The groomsmen opted for light gray suits and black ties, while the bridesmaids donned floor-length, one-shoulder violet dresses. The pair tied the knot in front of nearly 100 guests on the vineyard property. “”We wanted a very formal, elegant, classy wedding,” Tim said. “I had a vision for our perfect day and lucky for me, Jonah agreed. We wanted touches of Paris, since that holds a special place in our hearts, but we didn’t want it to be a Paris theme wedding.” Guests sat in white folding chairs beside green and purple pomander aisle markers. The grooms’ two chihuahuas participated in the ceremony as well, each adorned in a floral wreath. There was “a slight fall breeze as the sun began to set during the wedding ceremony,” Tim said. A cocktail hour followed the ceremony on a different level of the winery which offered stunning views of the venue. Guests were also asked to sign their names on the leaves of a print tree, in lieu of a traditional guest book. The reception took place inside a room lined with wine barrels and string lights. Guests sat at round tables with white linens and matching folding chairs. The tables were dressed with silver plates and plum-colored napkins. The centerpieces consisted of branches, hydrangeas, orchids, mums, and candles. Friends and family were given a photo scavenger hunt to keep them entertained. The dance floor was illuminated with a gobo light that displayed their initials and wedding date. Guests indulged in a three-tier square cake adorned with purple flowers and a silver monogrammed cake topper. Tim advises couples to stay true to themselves while planning. “During the planning of the wedding you will constantly have others giving you advice and recommendations,” he said. “Ultimately, do what you want – it’s your day!” See the full board here.

Tara and Nathan were married at Blue Ridge Vineyard in Eagle Rock, VA on November 2. Tara looked stunning in an A-line flowy chiffon gown complete with a lace shawl and her soft wavy hair parted to one side. She carried a fall bouquet of hypericum berries, roses, and wildflowers, tied with plum-colored ribbon and lace. Her ‘maids opted for mix-and-match plum dresses, while the groom and his men wore black suits complete with festive fall ties. The pair exchanged vows in front of just 80 friends and family members under a pergola on the vineyard lawn on a beautiful fall day. “Our long-time family friends own Blue Ridge Vineyard and we were lucky to have [our wedding] there – it was a stunning backdrop,” Tara said of the venue. A rustic-inspired reception followed on the patio, where guests sat at wooden tables covered in tan linens and accented with gold plates and plum napkins. Each table featured a mason jar centerpiece containing tree branches and bird seed favors. “Rustic, natural, low key,” Tara said about the event. “We wanted it to be about the people we love. A good crowd makes for a good event.” Dessert consisted of cannolis, homemade by the bride’s grandmother and aunt, which was nod to the bride’s heritage. Guests danced the night away and had a memorable evening. Tara was extremely grateful or her friends and family. “This entire event could not have happened without the help of friends and family. That’s also what made it so special for Nate and I.” See the full board here.

Elizabeth and Dane were married at Silver Coast Winery in Ocean Isle Beach, N.C. on May 24. Elizabeth looked breathtaking in a strapless fit-and-flare lace gown paired with a relaxed and wavy ‘do. She carried a bouquet of ranunculus, peonies, calla lilies, hydrangeas, and dusty miller. Her ‘maids donned navy floor-length chiffon gowns with mis-matched necklines. The groom looked handsome in a charcoal suit with a white neck tie. The couple tied the knot in front of 100 guests on the winery grounds. Family members and friends were greeted by a gold-framed chalkboard instructing them to pick a seat not a side, as well as a picnic basket of ceremony programs. Guests looked on from pews as the pair exchanged vows and shared their first kiss as husband and wife. “The weather was perfect! The sun was shining, all of our family and friends had made the trip for the special day,”  Elizabeth. The reception took place at the vineyard, where guests ate, danced, and drank the night away! They were even given glow sticks to add a fun element to the dance floor. “It was an emotional lovely day,” Elizabeth said. Family members and friends were given salt water taffy favors on their way out.  Elizabeth’s best advice? “Let the professionals take the reigns. This day is about you marrying the love of your life, so let other people worry.” See the full board here.
