It’s only Tuesday and I already feel completely spoiled with farm-inspired beauty.  Tyler and Kira married this past June at a spacious private estate in Charlottesville, Virginia. They envisioned a simple, elegant day adorned with fresh herbs and seasonal blossoms in a palette of French blue, violet, green, yellow, and cream. Charlottesville and the surrounding area experienced massive winds and heavy storms the night before.  Kira says, ‘We woke up to a wedding day with no power and roadways blocked by storm-ravaged trees. Tyler, his groomsmen, and friends worked for hours to cut down trees so that guests could access the reception venue! The entire event ran off of three generators (just barely, but it worked). Even the hair stylist had to improvise due to no electricity!’

Floral and event designer, Beehive Events, described the day as ‘dressed up rustic’ and the fresh palette couldn’t have been more charming or fitting of an East Coast farm-style wedding.  I’m perfectly smitten with those wild, organic centerpieces! 

After a morning of unexpected events and a sweet ceremony, the couple celebrated with their guests under a dream tent on the lush Virginia landscape.
