DIY Moss Letters and Rustic Signs

I have recently taken on and completed a few more DIY projects with the help of some very willing and amazing family memebers.  Living in NYC, I don't have access to a lot of the great craft stores.  Luckily some of my family lives within 3 hours of the city so I decided to take a trip up for the weekend and here is what we were able to accomplish.

DIY Moss Letters:  I can't believe how easy these were to do.  We actually found pre-formed paper mache letters from Jo Ann's.  We bought some spray adhesive and the kind of moss I wanted.  I wanted moss that looked more like fall.  So there is a lot of green and some yellow and some bark as well as pinecones.  The color doesn't show up that well in the pictures but I like it in person a whole lot better.

The process = SUPER EASY:  (This is my lovely aunt helping me)

DIY Reception Signs:  These signs were also very easy and I'm so very glad that we did them.  I wanted an antique look to go with my card box and chalkboard and I think we achieved that.  Jo Ann's actually sells small cut pieces of plywood which we used.  Next we bought a base coat, crackle paint, and a top coat.  Then we used stencils, a stensil brush and the paint for the letters.  We did both of these projects in one day.  I should add that a hair dryer significantly speeds up the process.  I included the picture of me blowing them dry though.
