My name is Krysten. I'm a 20 year old college student (not currently attending) majoring in Radiography. I'm taking the semester off to plan the wedding and focus on work. I work at Bi-County services where I help those with special needs live their daily life. When I'm not working or planning the wedding, I love love love watching hockey. We can't wait til October rolls around, not just for our wedding, but because the local hockey team, the Fort Wayne Komets, will begin their season!!! GO KOMETS!!
My fiance's name is Bryan. He is 25, and currently does not attend college. He works at a place called Advanced Property Preservation where he is sent to foreclosed homes and cleans them out. Recently, he moved home so we could begin our lives together. When he's not working he enjoys playing his Xbox 360, preferably Halo or NHL 10. And when he's not doing that, he's busy watching the Fort Wayne Komets with me.
We moved in together in April and we have two dogs. Maggie and Halo. Maggie is a border collie/black lab mix and Halo is a bulldog/black lab mix. They are both almost 2 years old. We think they might actually be sisters, but the jury is still out on that. They are like our children. Even though they are dogs they remind us to not take life so seriously by reminding us to laugh and play.
Bryan proposed to me on October 31, 2009 in front of friends and we are getting married a year later on October 23, 2010. (I can't believe it, only 74 more days left!!) It seems crazy that we're getting married when just four and a half years ago we were complete strangers and now we're going to spend the rest of our lives together. And even though we've been having rough patches while planning the wedding (plans falling through, problem attendants, and miscommunication between the wedding party) we just remind ourselves that when the day comes around, it's not going to matter. Because the only thing that matters, is that we are beginning the rest of our lives together. (Insert "awww" here).
