As we left it, Mister Mr. and his guys were waiting on the side of the porch and I was pacing the hallways waiting for my moment to walk down the aisle. Whew...I can still feel the butterflies!
All of our guests began arriving and I can only imagine the chatter going on in the crowd!
Mister Mr.'s handsome grandfather!
Every bride has a vision in their head of how they want their aisle to look. This was one of the things-during my planning-that I could close my eyes and see. I fell in love with the look in my head & was so blessed that my florist Posh Stems was able to recreate the EXACT look!
My godson and my little brother-in-law served as our ushers. They took their jobs so seriously & I was so proud of them! They looked SO amazing!
Being able to see all of my little details come to life was probably one of the greatest feelings I can remember. I worked hard for 17 months to make the wedding unique to US as a couple and I think all of our details helped accomplish that!
And who can forget my last-minute petal toss cone DIY project?
& our programs.
Our Tears of Joy packets
& just like that, it was time for the ceremony to begin. Our ushers were scheduled to start walking the grandmothers down the aisle. Unfortunately my grandmother was not there yet-having left Alabama late-so we had to start without her. Nevertheless, Mister Mr.'s grandmother-who is a riot-made her way down the aisle!
& then it was time for our parents!
My godson walked my mother down the aisle while my father waited with me in the bridal suite! Isn't it funny how short my mother is? My godson is taller than her and he's 12!
Mommy was super excited!
Finally the guys made their way out-in such a cool GQ way- towards the altar.
I love this picture of Mister Mr. he looks so excited!
& then my bridal party began their walk down the aisle!
