Cordially inviting...help with invites

My wonderful MOH and I met as graphic design majors in college... eight years after graduation she's working in the field while I'm teaching English. This means that I have an overwhelming desire to design my own invites in a professional manner and an overwhelming fear that I've probably both forgotten everything I've learned and that design programs have changed beyond recognition in the last decade.

Thank the heavens that my darling friend is willing to help a bride out! I'm just trying to keep ideas, images, and wording all together so that she isn't completely lost when I try to explain my "vision."

STYLE:

Cordially inviting help with invites photo 1

pretty much what I want the outside to look like, minus the initial

I think I like this arrangement... not sure

I love this arrangement and the elegance

I think I like the flourishes here... but I'm not sure...

There is something very elegant about the organization and the flourish

Here's what we ended up creating:

Monogram ideas

Since I'm not changing my name, having a traditional monogram isn't going to work. Instead, here's what the talented Sarah (GTBG) came up with for us - I love them!

The first monogram is TO DIE FOR!!!  I love it!!

I love the wording of the RSVP card. I have been wondering the best way to limit the ability to add univited family members/dates etc...

the invite ideas are really nice. Mine are also a pocket fold concept.

I love the style of the invites you want! Exactly the way I want it.
