Welcome to my PW page! My name is Nikki and I enjoy discussing anything wedding or renewal related so feel free to message/follow me :)

Our Anniversary & Photo Shoot at BGR!!!

So... our FIRST YEAR ANNIVERSARY consisted of four days & three nights at Butterfly Gap Retreat in Maryville, Tennessee (our wedding venue). We hiked & biked at Cades Cove, took a helicopter ride around the Smokies, and enjoyed an AMAZING photo shoot with our wedding photographer, Tara from Dixie Pixel Photography www.dixiepixelphoto.com/blog/

Here are a few pics that DH & I took during our weekend...

The top tier of our wedding cake, one of our monogrammed cake plates, our serving set, and our toasting flutes : }

AND best of all... the cake actually tasted pretty good?! That's crazy, right? lol

Please excuse the "terrible" pics... BUT I had to show you one of my anniversary gifts!

I got a SECOND wedding band (on top) : }

And my favorite aunt & uncle sent these unexpectedly...

It consists of hypericum berries that were used in the bouquets at my wedding!

A nice touch...right?

Another bouquet containing hypericum berries from the Butterfly Gap Retreat Owners!!!

My hilarious husband pretending to play his anniversary gift... A Vintage 1950's Banjo!!!

He's too cute : )

Our Day At Cades Cove...

Some pics while "hiking & biking"

My DH "playing around" : ) He said this could be our vacation home... lol!!!

Goodbye, Cades Cove!!!! ;)

Our Cabin at Butterfly Gap Retreat...

"Exterior" of Cabin 142

"Interior" of Cabin 142

It's an ALL GLASS CABIN with 360 degree views of the Smoky Mountains!

And of course... an indoor HOT TUB!

She is a fantastic photographer based in Tennessee that we've had the pleasure of working with for the last two years :) She is responsible for ALL of our engagement, wedding, and anniversary pics! Check out her "amazing" website at www.dixiepixelphoto.com
