2 sons walking Mother down the aisle

Help...I am a mother of 3 sons..this will be my second time getting married. We will be married in a traditional Methodist church. My youngest will be the ring bearer. My 2 teenage sons will be groomsmen. I have no father to walk me down the aisle, so should I have my 16 & 18 year old sons both walk me down the aisle, or just one of them?

You can have both of them walk you down the aisle one on each side!

I agree, I would choose both! But if you end up choosing one, you could have the oldest walk you down, and give the 16 year old another meaningful duty, like doing a reading during the ceremony so all three are very involved.

My sister and I walked with my Mom when she married my step-father several years ago.  We were only 14 and 16 at the time.  I think that it is beautiful when children walk with their parents to "give them away".

I love this idea. It is such a wonderful gesture of love and appreciation to your sons.

I am having my former father-in-law walk me down the aisle.  It's not the norm, but I am so excited about it and so is he.  My FI thinks it is a wonderful testment to the relationship my former in-laws and I share.
