Absolutely. I know of several brides that have had a ceremony dress and a reception dress
I'm having two dresses. I don't want to spend all night stuffed in an uncomfortable corset and petticoat, so I am changing into something shorter and more fun so I can dance and have a good time with my guests at my reception. I am also wearing my reception dress as my "going away" dress when we leave for our honeymoon.
I know a lot of brides that have two gowns. I say go for it girl. Do what you want. It's your day!
If that's what you want, go for it. At first, I shopped for a second dress for the reception. But, I fell in love with my gown and did not want to change. I hated having to get out of it to go to bed! LOL!!! To each his own...it's YOUR wedding.
Agreed, it's your day go for it. I originally had two dresses, but I switched to one instead. I was stressing about changing and missing out on the fun!
Of course! Though I'm still unsure if I'd opt for 2 dresses on my wedding, that idea is absolutely welcome. :)
GO FOR IT!! ITS YOUR DAY!!
