Accessorize Me!!!

Okay, I'm having the hardest time. I need to accessorize my wedding ensemble. What better group to post in than the Glamorous Brides right?

So, I LOVE bling. The sash on my dress is all sworovski crystals, there are no pearls. So the jewelry I've been looking for is blingy, not pearly but at this point, I'm open to ALL ideas. I also need shoes. Can't really do the super platforms because I'm 5'7" and FI is 5'11". But I want blingy shoes. If I'm going to do colored shoes, I'm thinking pink (fuschia) or blue.

Here is what I have bought so far.

My dress:

Okay I m having photo 1642258-1

Veil for the ceremony (without the edge):

Okay I m having photo 1642258-2

And that's about it. So if you want to play dress up with me, I need shoes, NEW jewelry (necklace, 2 bracelets, earrings), bouquet idea, and reception veil.

I know it's asking a lot but HELP!

Oh, BTW, I also bought jewelry and was so excited for it to come in, but I didn't like it when it did. The earrings were too short and the bracelet didn't live up to what I want (going for a thick bracelet). Here is what I got.

Oh BTW I also photo 1642294-1 Earrings, too short.

Oh BTW I also photo 1642294-2 Bracelet, doesn't do it...

Oh BTW I also photo 1642294-3 Headband, still trying to decide on this.

So that's why I need new jewelry ideas. TIA!!!

If you tell us your price range, it might help us help you a bit better. :0) What are you looking to spend on your shoes and what are you looking to spend on the jewelry as a whole.

I really am not interested in spending $300 on a bracelet then $300 on earrings or anything like that. I think If I spend no more than $400 on jewelry, I'll be fine. Shoes are another story! LOL! No really, I don't want to spend more than $300 on shoes. I'd rather not spend THAT much but if I have to, it's my wedding day you know?!

Let's start with shoes. My personal favs are by Grazia. The style name is Vanessa. They are about $195. They are 3 inches in height and are very sparkly. I actually purchased these shoes myself, but decided I needed something higher since I am so short. They are so comfortable and are to die for.

RECEPTION VEIL:

Ok, I am all about the birdcage veil. It's chic, sassy, and glam. It also looks great on most everyone.

I would consider a birdcage veil for the reception.

Wow...stunning. Those shoes are gaga!! Wow! I was thinking birdcage for reception also. Just have to find the perfect one...

I forgot to mention, I have cankles...(LOL!) so I feel weird in strappy shoes. I like the Badgley Mischka's (who doesn't?). Here's what I've found so far in my endless search for accessories.

Shoes:

Wow stunning Those shoes photo 1644379-1  The ankle strap helps create an ankle...LOL!

I saw this bracelet on Etsy:

It looks great!!

I have cankles too...lol..so I tend to stay away from shoes that have ankle straps as well. That bracelet is VERY pretty. Who is the ETSY seller??

That bracelet sort of reminds me of this bracelet from Haute Bride.

That etsy seller is called nina renee. She has some glam-o-licious stuff! I think I'm going to go ahead and get the cuff. I think it goes well with my dress. Still stuck on earrings, necklace and shoes. For the necklace, I should get something simple right? Because of the bling everywhere else?

For the earrings, I've been e-mailing Meghan at Haute Bride back and forth. I think I like these. They're 2.25" long.

For the birdcage, do you have some ideas? I would like a fascinator with bling.

I love those earrings!! Haute Bride is always a great choice.ALL of my jewelry is from Haute Bride and I LOVE IT ALL!!!!

As for a fascinator, if you want one with both feathers and bling, then I recomment mine. It's from Haute Bride. The style number is HC139.

I love those earrings photo 1644556-1

I'll look for more options tomorrow for you.

Yes, if you really want to wear a necklace, simple is better. If you are going to wear a big gloam cuff and long glam earrings, simple is better. You don't want it to be over kill. You can even forgo the necklace if you want. With the cuff bracelet and the earrings, you really don't need it.

@ivinluki...I can't really remember. It was somewhere between $160 to $180 I think, but don't quote me on that.

It is quite beautiful!! I'll look into it.

Do you have any necklace options? I think I really want one because I don't like how my neck looks without one. I feel so bare when I don't have anything on my neck and my dress starts that low.

If you plan on wearing the Haute Bride earrings you showed me, personally, I would contact Haute Bride and see what necklaces they would recommend to go with the earrings. They probably will have a necklace that will either match or coordinate well with those gorgeous earrings.
