adding color to my living room

My living room was soo boring before. I also had a high pile super soft rug that just didn't go well with a toddler. My daughter would drop crackers, spill drinks, etc all over my rug. The high pile plush rug worked really well when our daughter was learning how to crawl but now that she is walking and eating solids.. we needed a change. We needed something that would last, I could steam clean it easily, and vac easily with a cheap $15 stick vac. I bought a $200 rug from overstock (exact rug as younghouselove but in a diffferent color). I also made a colorful light blue curtain to go along with our new rug. I really wanted a nice patterned design for the curtains but I'm too cheap to spend a lot of money on something 1. might not turn out right 2. my daughter would destroy eventually. Here are the before pictures of our boring living room http://www.projectwedding.com/post/list/new-sectional-and-custom-console-table and below are images of the after.

Very nice! I have just ordered some fabric to make some roller blinds because our living room is boring - I'm so excited now I've seen how great yours looks!!

It looks great! It would be cool if you could find mats the same color as the curtains/rug for your gallery wall, and change a few of them out.
