Albany / any Ladies: Arrowhead lodge

I need help from my Albany Ny ladies, just wondering if you have ever been to / or had you wedding at the Arrowhead lodge in Brewton,NY? We are thinking of having it on January 14, 2012. and would need ceremony idea. right now we have the guest sitting at their dinner tables during the ceremony( in fornt of the fireplace)

I need help from photo 2517053-1 I need help from photo 2517053-2,

and we don't like the idea. We would love to have the ceremony outside, (it would only be 10 to 15 min long). But don't know how that would work, b/c there will still be a cocktail hr. can we just get heater for the ceremony, and 1hr cocktail, or should we just have the ceremony at the dinner tables?

this is the front of the venue:

Arrowhead Lodge deck the cocktail hr would be where those tables with umbrellas are now.

what we have been think is to have the ceremony at the spot where this photo was taken from. if that makes sense, and have the aisle match up with the stairs, and have the wedding party walk down the stairs or thru the side paths. what do you ladies think? any other suggestion will be a great help.

this is a ceremony that I found at the venue, but it was summer, could we use the same set-up in winter? or are we crazy?

and a photo's from a fall wedding there( so that you can see the size of the iside)

also this is the lay out inside:

I need help from photo 2517053-3

please help, will have real photo's this weekend.

TIA

the xmas tree won't be there so we could put one more table in there, of and they have a wall that can close that room off.

oh that's an open area....

You probably have to order extra chair, if you want, to have the ceremony and the reception separate from one to another but in the same place.

Don't like the idea of having the guests already sitting in the tables from beginning to end, they'll be bored to death.

The ceremony in the front and the tables a little far behind.  Another thing is, that open room you can put your sweetheart table, not in the middle of the room but at the entrance of the room and then the round tables (12 on each side of the room).

Or if you can't rent extra chairs then, the chairs use for the ceremony each guest need to move it to where is going to be sit. (this sound like four weddings yikes)

let me see how busy I am here at work to recreate you a sketch.

Boricua- Bride: your the best!!!!. I've been doing some numbers and I'm thinking of having the table hidden in that small room and put the wall up( can fit most of the table). then have the extra table hidden behind some fabric with up lighting, and have the chairs set-up in the middle of the room, with the aisle in the middle, in front of the fire place, then after the ceremony the guest would go outside for the cocktail hr, and the catering would break down the fabric dividers, and then pull the tables out to the correct spots Don't know if that makes sense. the tables would have all the linens on them already, once that tables are placed, they would just have to put the centerpiece out in the middle, and the charger, and drinking mason jar. which would all be put in a box that would be left on the top of the each table. what do you think would that work?

I have the proposed idea but the system would not allow to attach power point presentations.

You can have both place sets at the same time and use a divider or backdrop like this one:

I have the proposed photo 2517663-1
