AM I THE ONLY ONE....

Ok ladies, please tell me some of you celebrate little silly things like I do. March 18th was my FH's 33rd birthday and for some reason I got all emotional that it was his last bday as my fiance'..the next will be as my husband YAY!!!.  Anyway he wanted to stay in and do nothing but I insisted we go out and celebrate because after all it was his last birthday as my fiance'. Needless to say he thought I was silly but happily indulged me.  Here's a pic from our night out.  Do any of you ladies celebrate anything others might think is silly?

Ok ladies please tell photo 3458254-1

Nope, you're not alone. Everything leading up to our wedding was "oh it's our last time doing this before we're married!" Then after the wedding it was, "Oh this is our first married ((insert event here))!"

@Fearce that is so sweet he still asks you out. My FH plans surprise dates but he doesn't literally ask me out any more. I think that keeps the romance fresh.

It is so sweet!

We still go on dates 20 years later and it was really special when we went out this past weekend because it was our first NIGHT DATE since we renewed our vows.

I think it is those little celebrations that keep everything Fresh and New!

I wish you lots of love and joy as you go through many of the lasts and begin a new array  of firsts.

BTW my son just turned 19 and it will be his ast birthday at home and I had to be in medication administration class when he officially turned 19 and I was sad. However, I did tell the entire class that my son officially just turned 19. My Nurse Trainer thought I was sweet.

So, I guess there will be many more times when he thinks you are being swee,t funny and cute over all the little things you celebrate together in your life.

^ Hehe, ditto Nicole! We were the exact same way! And now we are doing it again before the arrival of our first baby. The "lasts" and "firsts" never end...I love it! :-D

You are most definitely not alone.  I do the same thing.  My hubby's birthday following our wedding was a huge surprise of a week of little things and ended with a surprise dinner in the city.  I am very mushy when it comes to these things.

Shondra you know you are DEFINITELY NOT ALONE! Your Virgo sister is full or sap and romance! We celebrate the day we met every year since we have been together. I always get a special cake made, balloons, roses and dinner. We have our date night every Wednesday and we always do something special for one another's birthday. You and FI look so wonderful together! Keep doing all you do even after you wed! I LOVE IT!

I don’t celebrate such things just because I don’t ever think about it. Plus, we have three kids and don’t have much alone time anymore. We always celebrate our anniversary though. I think it is cute that you did that! Love the picture, what a good looking couple!
