Anyone Had trouble with an Etsy Vendor?

I love etsy and haven't had any trouble with an order--except one.


I ordered my save the dates on Feb 24th, and when I finally got them in April, it wasn't the proof that I approved. She said she would send them back out but when I asked what the timeline is on the STDs she never responded. That was 8 days ago.


I dont' know who else to contact and I dont' want to leave negative feedback if she is actually going to send the correct STD's out.


 


any suggestions?

I would try to contact her again, and if you still don't hear from her, then file a claim with etsy.  Then you can also open a claim with paypal just to show her you're serious.


I've only had one problem, and they fixed it, so it wasn't a big deal.  I'm sorry you're having a hard time!  It can be so frustrating when online deals go poorly.

Thanks Blu! It's especially frustrating because all I can do is order online since I'm overseas :( I'm going to wait one more day to go to a third party. I feel kind of bad that I have to even go to that but she hasn't answered.


Oh well. On a positive note, at least she's not coordinating my wedding right? :p ha.

Haha that's the spirit!  yeah, it's even so much easier in the states to find things online than looking through stores, for sure.  Good luck with everything!

Ok a mini update: I sent a paypal dispute and send a fairly long message:


I made the deposit listing in Feb for the customized Save the Dates. After one month, I received the wrong Save the Dates design. It might be a minor detail to you, but I paid for this service. I emailed you about the issue and you responded promptly, saying that you reprint them with the approved design but it's been almost two weeks and you have not responded to the three emails I have sent. I just want to know when and if you are actually going to do what you said you were going to do which is resend the CORRECT design that I approved. I was supposed to send these Save the Dates but it's been posponed because I received a product with the wrong design and there is little to no communication from you. This whole transaction from deposit to now has been TWO months.  If you want the wrong save the dates you can pay for shipping and I'll ship them to you but I paid for an approved design that I haven't gotten. If you can't get this done let me know and I'll request a refund for BOTH the deposit and the listing.


I wanted to sound stern but not a total mean person. Cross fingers this lady resends or refunds!

Woo hoo!! You have to light the match under their a** sometimes to get what you want. I always tell them I will report them to the BBB and that get's things a moving. I never let them see me sweat and instead they do and things turn around. Even the little things are big when you are talking business.

You did a great job and fought a good fight. I am happy you showed her who was boss LOL! ;)

LOL Thanks nubian! i kind of felt bad but three months was a little much! in the end, I got what I paid for so I'm happy about that :)
