Stateline:
I've stayed in Harrah's.  They have nice rooms, nothing extraordinary.

I stayed at Caesars before it turned to Mont Bleu.  I LOVED their rooms!  Spacious room with nice table and chairs by the window.  The bathrooms were fantastic!  Marble everywhere and separate shower and tub.  Once I had a room that had a round tub right next to the bed.  The tub had glass wall panels that were alternately clear and opaque with the Caesars logo either etched or non-etched on them.  I was very impressed as this was an upgraded room that I got (very cheaply - $79 per night?) through the player's club.  I don't know if they changed it, but I loved their pool too.  It basically gave you the feeling of being out on the mountainside because it was made to look like rock.  If I'm not mistaken, the walls were painted to look like the outdoors too.  What I didn't understand is having to get to the wedding chapel through the pool.  Imagine your guests hiking up their formal gowns because some kid is splashing in the pool!

I've also stayed at several chain hotels and some of the smaller Mom & Pop establishments. Some can be a bit rustic!  There are several places that have kitchenettes.  (Good if you want to save a little $$ on food.  It can be a bit pricey depending on where you go.)

There are lots of places for food.  My favorite was Josh's in the Horizon Hotel/Casino.  I'm very sad as it looks like they're closed permanently now.  They had the best lobster dinner for the best price in town.  Their atmosphere was 5 star (at least to me) and the waiters treated you the same whether you were in a formal gown or jeans and a t-shirt.  Very professional!  I used to take a dress and heels just to go to dinner there. I can't say enough how much I loved this restaurant. :(
